Its a while since i bore my heart !!!

So where do i begin ? Its time for a round up of the right here and know . Well lambing time has begun again and the weather is hot but not for long . So hot Ive taken to wearing a sun hat which is amusing some . I should cut some wood but have neither the energy or enthusiasm . It will save money but not enough to make a difference against bills i pay , electric for example . Its a quaint idea though and if a romantic whim takes hold of me for a second i might cut some in a bleary eyed idealistic moment .
  Im left holding the baby literally tonight but shall return the favour on Saturday ! Ive been looking back at sky photos i took last June and have used one for my new fb profile pic . It looks bat like and i love it to bits . Its very cool and original .  . If only i knew what was ahead back then . it was a very emotional summer in all departments . Some tried to destroy me while others loved me ! ( very Jerry Cornelious ) sounds daft but it was true . Again as i said last Summer i wonder if i can top it again this year . Yeah the potential is there but i always seem to kill a good thing . All things in moderation then !

Grass mate....

Evie is starting to focus on me . She is beginning to recognise me which is making her more human . This is a big step . A night feed is gonna be on my routine now as I'm feeling better after a  very ill week indeed . How pleasurable is it to simply eat and feel good . Being chained to a toilet or wishing you were is no fun at all . I didn't eat much for two days and Ive put on weight somehow ! How does that work ? Probably the same way as i get older my hair gets thicker ????
  Its been hot today . Too hot and guess what i never mowed the lawn last night thanks to an unexpected face book surprise !!! It will take my soul if i let it......A second attempt will be planned for tonight( mowing that is ) . I pity our neighbours if i run out of wire . I pity them all the time since Evie came !
  Sunday morning our neighbour was in a new Range rover reg 777    !   Is it a work car ? This is my new obsession.....

Why i hate the Sun (US DONT LIKE THE SUN )

1)  It makes manual work harder
2) It burns my face easily
3) It tires me at night after a day in it
4) It makes me sweat a lot
5)Take aways get long queues
6)Everyone starts making plans and rushing around
7)Weather forecasters wont stop saying how warm its gonna be .Arrrrgh !
8) You are suddenly expected to be in a fantastic mood
9)Nights are no longer cosy and its harder to settle down
10) The bloody lawn grows

Spring un-sprung

The start of Spring has been confirmed by 2 events . Firstly a bumble bee bumbled through my bed room window this morning first thing as the Sun warmed up the East side of our house and secondly i am about to attempt to mow our lawn . I have 2 spare pieces of wire only . Will i get caught out or will i get it finished before they snap . Place your bets.......
  Actually there is a third sign come to think of it !  A big queue at the Chinese last night . Why should the sun make people wanna get a take away ???? Come to think of it why does the sun wanna make you do anything ? I don't like it and never will .

Very ,very small things.....

After a night over the toilet i watched George Osbourne's budget . Nothing surprised me as he is only shuffling money about without borrowing more so there will be winners and losers . And hes doing it again " INFLATION IS DOWN 0.1 % blah , blah ,blah.....   Its those small increments again ! AERGGH !

Its pathetic

Its pathetic . Our economy is measured in such small increments so the mood and outlook can be decided daily and the general mood manipulated . Its called self delusion . It is like a child with its last bag of sweets happy if theres still 2 or 3 left in the bag . This method is used for inflation , global warming and rape convictions . In fact any subject where the general mood must be totally controlled. I take my hat off to them as it bloody works....

Beep ,beep, beep

OH YES !    Another long term irratation has been solved . For about 5 years a faulty beeper had annoyed me on a tractor . Very tiring as it was constant . At times i threatened it with a hammer . Anyway it has been fixed as a by product of another electrical problem being fixed . Not often that happens

The night sky

I went to get a chinese at Sedbergh last night and i think i saw the most beautiful sky ive ever seen . It was clear and the stars stood out . I could see Mars sparkling red and I two other planets sparkling together . Venus and something else which escapes me at the moment .It matters not for it was beautiful . The two planets close to each other were in the same position in the sky as Haleys comet was 12 years ago . That felt odd as it brought back memories off that time too ...and life has changed so much today since then .

Facebook and damnation

Face book was created by the Devil around the turn of the Millennium . He figured the best way to corrupt a soul was to give people a little rope with which to hang themselves . He just stood back while the damned did all the work for themselves ! Happy people discovered what they they wish they hadn't , and unhappy people deluded them selves temporally that they really  were that popular !!!! Mean while each persons reality burned in a their own private hell ,self fuelled by insecurity . A wide range of features further enhanced the destructive experience of the site . The final nail in the coffin was to make people believe they couldnt live without it.....

Update

Its a dull grey night here in Dent but it is dry and a little spring like tonight . This week has been a little more normal and i do feel myself more or less now . Had a good day walling and getting things ready for lambing time . Ive sorted my long term knocking suspension on the focus which makes me happy or happier . Nights of disturbed sleep are getting easier to deal with and im not as tired as i was .
  Evie is growing fast and her eyes are looking around more and focusing . She has put on 9 oz so she is growing.....

Funny money

The governments solution to our countrys debt mountain is 100 year loans . We will borrow more and pay it back over longer . We spend more every year running this country than what comes in through taxes , hence we need to borrow each year and the amount we owe keeps going up . Now if this was your personal situation you would say you were fucked !!!!

Reality bites

Spring seems to be approaching but the weather can be deceptive .Ive had a surreal time at Kendal yesterday . We pushed Evie round Asda . Its funny in public places none of it feels real , almost dream like . It was however topped by Rachel breast feeding in a cafe while trying to eat a bar meal. As for driving around in a Meriva   ( its great to drive actualy ) i felt almost resigned to it . I still have my blue focus though . If you see my red one around Kendal i have sold it to Chris ! A fortnight of adrenalin has worn off now and the cold reality of the slog thats ahead is very real . The novelty value has gone and is replaced by dirty nappies , sick and screaming ( in no particular order ) Others are on the same boat now and i wish them luck !

Mighty moon

Well ive just seen the biggest moon of my life rising so low from the top of the dale . I would say its 3 times its normal size and so white . Its cold and clear tonight in Dent and a thin wind is blowing . The atomosphere is announcing the slow process of spring has begun . Whats ahead ? Good stuff i think .....

Im bloody sick to death of  n - power  . Thats spelt with a small n to make them look all cuddly wuddly . Well sod them . I have only just finished paying last years bill when they send another stupidly large one ! Fuck off you will have to wait till i have some money . And as for direct debit : direct robbery more like . Why do they always over charge you more a month than you use, so they always owe you . Funny how that works.....

I was knackered last night all i did was eat and sleep . Put clean top on this morning and Evie was sick on me . I then drove to work in the Meriva meeting locals in manly pick ups . Felt a little embarrassed .....
