One week to go

Only a little over a week to go now and I'm all out of energy and enthusiasm for anything . I have never felt like this as bad before . I long for the stupid , crass and shallow side of life and if its kitch it has my attention . A ll in all in holiday immanent mode . Hoping for a smooth week ahead with no nasty surprises that can spoil that holiday spirit.... Fb is banned on this holiday . If i hear one word , just one word ot whats going on at home  i will grab the phone , walk straight down to the sea cliffs and throw it to its peril ( the phone ) . Probably into a sea cave !
  Sharing a caravan with a baby .Mmmmmm this will be a learning curve . Maybe i should buy a tent as a back up plan ! I could camp on the cliff tops and probably roll into the sea from a great height during the night and that will be the end of me.

Doctors are to go on " strike " for a day cos their pensions are to be " cut " to £70,000 a year in the future . Yes thats right £70,000 fucking pounds...  a year !!!!!!  I dont care how good a job they do they have been rolling in money since Labour came to power . Fucking unbelievable i think thier is a parallel universe.....What world are they in ?

A shared moment

This week Ive been indulging in my favourite past time ( well one i can mention here !) sitting on my back door step watching the sun go down and the moon come up . The night wind is blowing through the leafy tree tops and the hills are silhouetted against the pink blue sky as dusk falls . My sandstone door step remains warm long after the sun has gone down ,absorbing the suns heat i suppose .
   Funnily enough i had a strange feeling and glancing across saw my neighbour doing the same thing , deep in thought . Suddenly realising we were sharing the same moment we both smiled and went inside . A bit awkward actually , but funny really . How the people we often smear do the same things as us .....

So offensive !

I turned on the T.V last night and unfortunately i caught the most messed up , offencive , sick program on the schedule ,  Great Ormand  Street  Hospital  . Why would anyone choose to watch a program for entertainment about seriously ill children ?  Maybe ist factual , maybe .... you know what i cant think of any other excuses . Its entertainment at the end of the day and that SUCKS !   Probably watched by those Daily Mirror readers in need of a self righteous fix the **********  !

Good news / Bad news

GOOD NEWS :    A government think tank has suggested raising the ratio of children to child carers in nursery's thus easing the child care place shortage by increasing the amount of children that can be looked after by the people working there . What a common sense idea ! Is the tide turning ? Hoorah for common sense !!!!

BAD NEWS : The Sun has reported that one of our submarines has been sent to the Falklands thus the headline     England  V  Argentina as if it were a football match . Fuckin retarded paper read by imbiciles !!!   If you read The Mirror with its vicious attacks on those its values as less than human and its overly sickly sentimental pieces about our " boys in the forces " then i will compare you to something i would scrape off my shoe after i had stood in it !!!!

Bangers !!!

It seems there is no substitute for a good " poke " on fb  . Suggesting i was about too was  interesting . I wont beat around the bush !!!! Anyway i'm in a very good mood today and the sun is shining . Not even the entire contents of a pepper corn pot emptying on to my beans on toast can dampen my mood today !
  I am going to Warton Stockcar rally today on my own if everyone is too busy ( and thats very likely ) .Will take photos too for blog . Several years since ive been so it should be good ..... ( forgot my camera )
   It was good on my own and i arrived late so avoided the now £9 entry charge which Rachel later tried to take off me ( unsucessfuly i may add ) for " petrol "  Mmmmmmm  marriage !
  Saturday saw me helping a friend fix his van which i really enjoyed , then had a chinese at night and  a roast beef  Sunday dinner next day . A very manly weekend with a little emotion thrown in along the way !   YA WHAT MATE ? !      Oh and i nearly forgot BRAQUO is on fx tonight !!! Oh joy.....

Everybody is missing what they are missing....

Well i give up ! I guess a one day things will turn . Probaly next summer .

Had enough of all of this......

Well im feeling weary and out of season . Everything seems to have slowed down and come to a stop . Now im just waiting for the tide to change and a return to what makes me me !!!! Hurry up......

Sunday morning 13th May

So lambing time is over in a flash . The fields are bare and empty and a cold North wind blows . So now the final job of muck spreading and cleaning up the debris from all the fields begins in preparation for silage time . Now is always a time for reflection . Branches need cutting off and holes filling , stones need picking up , hedging waste needs moving  and a bit of rolling is needed and none of it does itself .
  I'm tired of feeding the animals inside but a late turn out is likely as its so cold up here ( as always )   .Im weary and looking forward to a change of scene at Cornwall . Going for a fish this afternoon as its a little warmer now . Sunday dinner is roast pork ! Mmmmm it smells goooood !
 Evie can sit up know and her expressions are funny as she obviously is developing fast . She is showing the first signs of trying to crawl and her legs are so strong she can stand if i help her balance !!!

Kendal at its best !?

Today i got my hair cut in Kendal . Now is the only time i like Kendal , all the blossom out and the summery big spots of warm rain . The trees are all nearly out and it smells fresh . Yeah its a nice sight if only once a year . A walk down the riverside was heaven ,even if i did get wet !!!

Forcing a crises

Oh dear " The full moon forces a crisis " has rung true this weekend on so many counts . Saturday afternoon a cow nearly fell in the slurry store . Three calves got into next doors garden but caused no damage but a shrieking , hysterical couple didn't see it that way . A  complaint about the noisy pet lambs ensued so that led to them having to be moved too . Having finally left the farm a sheep nearly landed on my bonnet as it flew up the road hysterically . I spun off in despair . My night then took many bizarre turns to which i will spare the details !
  Sunday was marred by a body being removed in the middle of Wray scarecrow festival . Community support officers were stood out side the house before hand and i told them they were very realistic scarecrows . Not even a  glimmer of a smile ! Humourless buggers .

Its the Sun wots lost it !

Ok i'm gonna have a rant about something i know nothing about . Football !!! The new England manager has been chosen . Apparently he is the only person considered for the job because of his experience in international football . I guess this must be a very important advantage .... But what does The Sun focus on ? His ordinary appearance and a slight speech impediment ! For Gods sake how childish to miss out on promoting his strong points so they can poke fun at trivial , pathetic observations that appeal to the lowest denominator .
   This happened to William Hague during an election when he was trying to prevent us from being forced in the future to join the Euro . This was right up The Suns street but what did they focus on ? His bold head , picturing him against a photo of a baby . Fucking retarded paper or what ????
