No im not a big fan of weddings , socialising , drinking or dancing ! Christ that sounds awful now ive written it . So my weekend will be tenuos to say the least . I will enjoy seeing people though as it wil be a happy occassion but not really my cup of tea ( cliche alert ) And as for suits , they feel like a wet suit to me ( ie: uncomfortable i expect ) and to cap it all ive lost my new tie already before ive tried it on ! The moon will be full , the Church bells will chime , and women will vibe oh yes they will vibe !!! Archetypes will shine and i will just shut the fuck up and have to watch . Where do i go from here.... Oh yeah there is a rubber duck race on in Dent at 3 oclock , the exact time of the wedding . Down the river they wil go and what number will win i wonder.... ha ha ha . Its been a very long hard week and im so tired and my sinuses are swollen in my head affecting the passages to my ears . My eyes are sore and im still stuffed up . Feeling in a odd mood tonight , all over the place and uneasy . A half moon is visable sometimes tonight and as it grows fuller next week so will things start to hot up considerably . Im ready now so bring it on . Three years in the making , three years i hope ive learnt something in . Yep my reality is true and so is my dream in its own sphere .No need to stress , but i will cos its the way of my clan !!!! A full circle reveals the truth , but i knew the truth from the start . Maybe that was the trouble . Now have fun David for goodness sake !!!!! Its time to rock n rolll a little . Have i the enrgy ?????

Time is the filter

I remember when the show Wheeler Dealers was about buying and mending ( mechanicaly ) cars . Now they just make cosmetic repairs and visual improvements . Eventualy all your favourite shows dumb down and go for the easiest , most obvious route . Also the least interesting . I can hear the latest producer saying " Its been a popular show but now it needs a new direction... " A sure sign were all about to switch off for sure.... And no that Eddie Stobbard trucking program is a joke come paired to Ice Road Truckers .

Its no laughing matter

I have just been watching Comedy Gold . Old comedys i havent watched since the eighties or even the seventies . PORRIDGE , OPEN ALL HOURS and YES PRIMEMINISTER are the best . Properly written . They dont have to be obscene too get a laugh or vulgar and there are no twenty something cunts trying to be funny with too much hair and too tight funny coloured jeans. No, real men who were really funny back in the day before every tv show had to have a fit woman appearing in it to get peoples attention . Comedy for comedys sake . I mean NOT GOING OUT or TWO PACKETS... Come on i mean they dont compare......

September upheaval

Well its September . The begining of the end of summer , and its been a wet one and its been a odd one and a none event one too . Just treading water you might say ( no pun intended ) An uneasy time as change is bound as the landscape changes colour as all dies . Dark nights are welcome as are moonlight nights and cold starry ones . Cool days are welcome though . Messing about transporting wood down to our fire from the farm is a pain and irratates me more each year . ( well i would have it )  All the rage though.... Once all the leaves have fallen and the tree's will est the true atomosphere of winter . It will be an absolute and i like absolutes . Absolutes i can do . Uncertainty i hate . Long periods of uncertainty are unbearable as i like to make a plan in life and have a general picture of where im going as i expect we all do . 
   Watching a dvd tonight ( why are they souless ? videos never were , maybe modern films have nothing new to say ?)  and i shall light a fire ( probaly wont LOL but i like the idea )  . A quiet night for me as Rachel is out on a hen night . I will also mow the lawn ( probaly wont at all )  Tis the time of year for squaring up personal , home and work issues as winter in all aspects approaches .....
   Right !!! A wedding approaches too soon in my local church . One im suprised to see and would not have put money on . Watching them walking down the isle will be quite an event . Quite an event indeed !!!!! Ha ha ha well life is never dull . I wonder what the next turn of events is . Hopefully a full circle is achieved . Yes a full circle would be good by me . LOL

Oh dear ive been expecting this . Some people dont stop till they are told what they wanna hear . Its been a while coming . Well toaday a report blaming the police for the tragidy has been published . Reports saying this... other reports saying otherwise in the past . A lot of unruly fans pushing thier way into a football match crush 96 people to death and the police seem to have the blame focused on them by the media . Left wing anti establishment , socialist Liverpudlian bull shit . Eventualy the Police have to be blamed cos you cant blame those who have suffered can you ? It sits so much neater this way !!! Phew....

FOUR DAYS WITHOUT FACEBOOK AND I FEEL FREE . HOW COULD THIS HAVE BEEN AFFECTING  ME SO MUCH ?  CANT STRESS HOW DIFFERENT I FEEL . IM IN CONTROL NOW OF MY PERCEPTIONS . FB IS HAS A DANGEROUS SIDE AND IT WILL TAKE FROM YOU  ! USE SPARINGLY OR MAYBE A LITTLE GOES TOO FAR IN MY HANDS !!!

Bloody facebook !?

Facebook is increasingly causing me grief . People post humourus , life affirming , sentimental posts about  stories they have heard that do the rounds on the net . Often they include disability , death and ill children . Nope this doesnt add anything to my day , nor does it make me feel better . In fact its very irrelivant and boring .
  Others post impossibily nice comments on charm offencives . I know what youre up to and so does everyone else !  Not reality is it ???? Others rarely reply to messages unless pushed . This does my ego no good at all despite seeing said people and getting on with them face to face fantasticaly . Irratating cos again fb is not giving me reality and with some friendships this is unacceptable to be arssing around with like this with !!!
  Also when was the last time someone commented on my posts ?????  Months ago . This sucks and is a waste of my time . I'd rather put my views on here and people can come here to check my shit out and i bet they prefer this blog to my fb content . It takes awhile for it to sink in that fb has taken from me as well as given . I have mixed feelings about it.... mmmmmmmm

Water , water

Today i had three water related problems on the farm . In each case water would not stop where i wanted it and its leaking everywhere i dont want it . Due to two horrendous wet summers the damage is great to the land , roofs and even my focus is now rusting because of the weather . God it would be nice to have dry month like in America . Its come so much rain all is a quagmire .

Fucked up

Oooooooh yeaaaah !   I almost forgot . Whats really annoying me is the stupidity of the following situations . And im fascinated to hear what you think are the explanations for these in crediblily CRASS  fuck ups.

1) While up in Scotland on holiday is saw a news paper front page carrying the story of a tragedy of awful events at Gairloch . Three young children and thier father drowned when thier small rowing boat over turned . What photo was there immediately below accompanying an unrelated story ? Only a photo of a class of school kids all wearing pirate hats with skull and cross bones!!!. Fuck me but even i found that in bad taste  . I mean why ? Did someone not think or say something  to the editor ? Words escape me . You just wouldn't would you ?!  

2) More baffeling is the advert promoting the awareness of bowel cancer on t.v at the moment . A consultant talks about this adding validity and kudos to the cause . O.K  what is the consultant called ? MR BOWLEY !!!!    Come on !  Was this name made up ? If so its totally crass and a piss take on a not very funny subject . If this happens to be the real guys name then its so silly it makes a joke of the advert losing its serious message along the way , so you would change it surely ? Either way I'm baffled what the fuck is going on there . A logical explanation for both events might be some people are just thick as shit and notice nothing....

Retro cool ?!

Here's something that ive been meaning to write for awhile  but have never been in the mood too .  Why do  children  wear retro music t-shirts !!!  Today it was a t-shirt of  70's rock band KISS , another day it was an old AC/DC  album cover  which a child under 10 was wearing .  This music was not of thier generation and they wear them as a fashion item and have probaly never listened to these bands but they know thier cool . Annoying cos at that age i would have had no concept of what was cool for my parents generation ! Sophisticated at such a young age and aware of retro cool . Makes me sick ! Today they are so aware of what they should be seen to be aligning themselves with too as if they are loooking for a knowing nod from the next generation .....and they pull it off too.....

Lifes a puddle !!!

Arrrrgh today someone filled in " the puddle " in our farm yard in the name of " improvement " .  I have known that puddle for 40 years !  I have washed my wellingtons in in for nearly as long . Sounds silly but i have a lot of fond memories of it .
  In winter i used it to see how hard it was freezing by prodding the surfice  . Went i was little it was exciting when it froze solid and we used it as a slide . Sometimes when it rained a layer of ice was under the water which gave you a nasty shock when you walked through it !!! We rode our bikes through it too spraying water about .  It was always there . In hot summers it dried up and it was akward not having it to wash our wellies off ( we now have a tap ) but it aint the same LOL If i know anything a bout water ( and i do ) i expect it will reform washing out the gravel and re-appearing . Water is bad to control and does as it will .
  Mmmm this has me thinking about Dent green rounabout that was there for all my life till the council scrapped it for a new style play ground . Fucking sacrilage . That roundabout was the green . It was Dent . It had history . Tossers.....

Holidays

Soooooo  how was my all male holiday  ? F******    fantastic is how it was ! How did we all get away with it ? Looking back it amazes me we all got away from other halves and kids ....  i guess we all needed the holiday after the catastrophic disaster of the previous years holiday ( i use the term holiday loosely ) Anyway all bad memories were erased and replaced with new better ones !!!
  The fishing was very good . I caught two huge pollock and quite a few nice sized mackeral . I spent a particularly good evening fishing a wild mountain stream with a friend catching wild trout , small but truly wild and beautiful to look at even more so than  Cumbrian trout .
     The weather was dramatic with stormy nights shacking the caravan and a maelstorm blowing outside . In fact my bedroom wall was flexing the wind was so strong and rain lashed on my window all night just like  the special effects in a horror film which amused me some what . Some nights were still and moon light and the sea shone silver and a high tide only added to the beauty . Truly special and not a sight ive seen up there before despite 20 years of yearly visits !

  I ate a lot of chocalate rolls , muffins ect apparently .  Returning home was hard as a culture shock awaited and worse shocks awaited others !  Too be expected after a wild time away as a price must be seen to be paid ....and some will take great pleasure in collecting !!!!

Sweating like a ***** in church !

Today i reluctantly went to a christening for someones child ( i have no idea who they were... ) and upon walking in to the church was amazed at what some females of that  age so pleasing to the eye were wearing... all short dresses , high heals and hair sexed up to the MAX !!! Thought i had walked into a night club . Poor vicar , i bet he had a job to keep his eyes on the job . Not that i was complaining ..... and do tattoo's really look good in church ? Errr no , not even on a young sexy blonde ....
