Looking to the weekend

Its a grey day in Dent and the wind is howling round the farm house as heavy rain is forecast . Not many leaves are left on the trees and its very muddy as it has been all summer. Not much change there then ! Its due to turn colder by bonfire night . Again its come around fast and a lot has changed in my life in a year . Its a huge fire this time due to hedging waste . Hoping for a dry night as teens of people needing food can lead to a quagmire around the house ! A family ritual indeed .

Halloween 2012

Had a really good time at my cousins halloween party he put on for our familys kids, only the adults took it over , costumes and all . Laughed and DANCED !!! Well it was a full moon . Good to let off some steam . Not bad for a shed party !!!

Economical with the truth ?

Well economic growth is up 0.6 % this quarter due to the sunny weather , the Olympics and by christ the saviour of our industrial heart land... school uniform sales !Well there was me thinking our 12 billion a month deficiet was a problem . When i was at school in the eighties this country built trains , cars and ships . Now we are relying on women using credit cards to boost our economy . What a fucking mess ....

Recently Evie scratched me on my face . I shouted out as it quite hurt and took me by suprise . People nearby predictably whipped thier heads round to look . What a convulted weekend ! Generaly missed most good stuff due to been out of step with the rythmn of everyone else . When i got somewhere it was time to come home or said people were out . When i returned home they were in !! That kinda thing . One to forget..... Several other people had transport upsets strangely as well buggering up thier plans as well . So i wasnt the only one which makes me feel better !

Bleached out day

Its a bleached out sunny October afternoon . Its one of THOSE ! Will wander around vaguely doing small jobs ruminating on the plans for the rest of the weekend .... may have a blow . Will put a name plate on Evie's door and thats as far as i will go . Had a very busy 2 weeks and have been a bit too tired but seem to have recovered well today . Felt all allergyish this week and stuffed up and no energy at all . Home is calling .

Bully in fell top bog horror !

Imagine my suprise when i returned to a remote fell top location to retrieve a bogged ATV bike to find it was already in the process of being dug out by the game keeper ; none other than my old school bully of 25 years ago ! He made my days misery every morning making me feel like shit with his friends . Now he was digging shit on my behalf . Fuck life can be good sometimes .....

Hardware

How hard can it be to join a plastic pipe ? Twice ive been to a hardware store who have given me 20mm connectors for a apparently 20 mm pipe . Niether sealed it . When i asked why a young man said well these are 20mm ones and looked blankly at me . Know it was obvious that they fit wrong , but why ? He made no effort to advance the situation and was totaly lost . He could only see what the packet said so it must be alright ! You stupid c**** i thought . Typical next generatiion . Probaly never fixed a thing in his life ! Clueless . Am i getting old here ??? You can smell the fear in that store . Nervous tension as no one knows what there fucking doing . Earlier on in the week i ordered roofing material . EVERYTHING THAT WAS DELIVERED WAS WRONG . Christ cant any one get anything right !!!!!!! Very tired and pissed off tonight .

Jimmy Saville

Jimmy Saville back in my day was a hero , DJ , TV presenter and the maker of dreams come true on his " Jim'll fix it " TV show. He was a millionaire who apparently did tireless charity work and lived in his Leeds council flat a lot from what i remember . All in all a good man until today .... What was his crime ? Well the crime that dare not speak its name . I wonder how many of us would not do anything dodgy if we knew we could get away with it ? I expect we would all have our " offs " especially if it was all covered up and we were a super star . How many pop stars have done the same ? Elvis , Jerry Lee Lewis ... for sure . Remember he was the equivilent of Simon Cowell today on TV . Explains why he kept his shit secret for so long . Unfortunately this is now all he will be remebered for and all his 50 odd years of giving happiness and heart warming entertainment will be forgotten . Now thats a shame . The media cant do ambiguity at all . Just black and white . Probably black.....

Sitting in the dark

Yes its finally happening . The Department for energy has admitted we are to only have 4% spare energy supplys soon instead of 14% . This is due to enviromentalists and Europe telling us to shut down our coal and gas powered electric stations . In fact today the electric company spokesman said not to worry as precautions could be taken such as turning down voltages in times of peak demand meaning house lights would go dull for example ! Imagine paying £ 1200 a year for that shit ! paying for something and not getting it is as bad as it fucking can get . What the hell is wrong with this country ? 20 years of fuckwits listening to greens mean we are gonna be sitting literaly in the gloom at night . What a mess ! It gets worse too as there is only just enough fuel getting to our forecourts and food to our shops . EVERYTHING is on a knife edge . I said this years ago . Oh and the country is 20 billion a month short of making ends meet and we have a govrnment to concerned with been relected to sort it out . They will continue thier old dance as long as they can to the end . WE ARE IN CRISES - WE NEED A HERO WITH A NEW , NEW BOLD WAY OF THINKING . THIS WILL HAPPEN SOON......

Water ,bloody water again

Getting stressed .... water is dripping through the farm electric fuse box because a very high gutter is blocked . This will trip off the electric soon if i cant get someone out to it . Ive watched this coming for WEEKS ! I get very angry when this sort of thing happens ...

A good wedding !

Well , well i would never have thought it . I really enjoyed the wedding after all . Company was very good if i dont mind saying so, but with the friends and family i have that was gonna be a given . The service was quick as was time spent taking photos . This is good . The bride was glowing and the bridesmaids were looking very glamorous. Even the weather stopped raining during the event and turned torrential once the couple closed thier door for the night . Amazingly lucky id say.....
