The Devil moves in mysterious ways

Today I had a stroke of luck !  At my parents house my Dad inadvertantly uplugged the deep freeze thus de-frosting a quantity of my Mothers delicious home made and hard to come by ( outside of at Christmas ) sausage rolls that were destined for a Church coffee morning . Daring not to re-freeze them they have been sent my way !!!

Spot the difference ?

It doesn't really matter when  accidents such as the recent diving death at Wastewater  occur whether something was " planned " or not . Its too late .
 The same goes for gun shootings . In this country the media are obsessed with whether the gun used was " licenced " . Bodies everywhere but if the gun used was unlicensed this seems of greater   importance . Of course all the licencing in the world cant stop a maniac or everyday person flipping . These things will always happen . Remember Whitehaven .
 Cumbria is no rural idyll and runs red with as much tragedy as the rest of England , in fact it feels as if we have more than our fair share considering the sparse population . If we have statistically more tragedy's per population then  WHY ?  Now that would be a worthy exercise to map out the different county's dividing population by tragedy and then find the mean figure . Then the fun part of deciding why the spikes  . It all there to be discovered , barely veiled  ,and instinct tells me you would be on the road to maddness . Maybe its best to just look the other way......

Wuthering Heights PART DEUX !

On this the most inclement  and wintry night I find myself In the most troubling situation for my wife has entrusted our infant to the care of her parents and guardians who dwell such a considerable distance away across the moors . The wind  it doth blow with much menace only matched by the generous quantity of snow it embellishes .
  As generous as my fortune may seem in my parents possession of a horseless carriage driven at all wheels to make light of such weather , I can only conclude I shall endeavour to make  much jubilation and rejoicing upon their safe return ...
  My Father yet expresses such dark projections at the folly of this avoidable situation which with a degree of hindsight and common seeing could so easily have been thwarted . A day of inaction I fear may be to blame and I pray the consequences are not too dire or the debt In which I find myself  unpayable .

No it wasnt the alternator rattling on my Focus  either having replaced it too . Given up in disgust , but will check the belt tensioner at some point this week.... I shall beat this annoying whizzing noise if it kills me .

Paranoia

The special thing about paranoia is that it always adds up however intricate the perceived situation is . The subconscious mind sees a pattern before you do and gives you a nudge and a wink to set you off . Your conscious mind then joins the party , and boy does it party adding new additions which again fit snugly in place with cross references and coincidences built in . Its a fucking work of art . I have to admire it ..

Writing again !

Well i've just written a very short piece of poetry which I have put on Golden . The first thing I have wrote for a few months . When I start writing it always heralds a time of action and movement in my life , so an interesting time will lie ahead for me i'm sure .

Doctor Dave

NHS future computer programs . One has been muted to record your childrens injures over the years and too many will flag up an abuse alarm . Another one logs your visits and flags up if you are at risk from cancer automaticaly . So in you'll walk one day with your injured child all worried and all fucking hell will be unleashed upon you by Social Services . You'll be shell shocked ! You could easily loose your kids... Then when you think it couldnt get any worse the receptionist will tell you your at serious risk of cancer . None of it will exist , but  will by the time they,ve fuckin finished with you .... The trouble with health services is they are always looking for more health problems . Everyone is overweight , has diabeties ( or is at risk ) has too high colestrial ( or is at risk ) . They measure by unrealistic targets creating a bigger picture of percieved problems .

Scraaaaaaaaaaape , scraaaaaaaaaaape !

Why do they persist in doing it ? You can not and have never been able to scrape frost off your window screen with a silly plastic scraper . I can hear them now scrabbling about achieving nothing....

Nothing to see here

Its cold and misty tonight, but it is actualy dry . My sister is pretending to be asleep on my parents sofa as she is visiting again . Im planning on taking Evie to Dalton Zoo tomorrow . Not much to say really . Probably a quiet weekend but there is that Focus alternator to be fitted...

My focus pulley was not the cause of the noise , i think its the alternator . Three steps forward and two back ....

The big question

Our countrys mental health is failing rapidly . Antidepressants , alcohol and drugs are much much more commonly relied apon nowadays just to get through everyday life . I think its high time we asked our selves why exactly this is and how or what prioritys we need to change in our society to remedy this situation cos something is well ******* up !!! I blame the media and social networking personaly , we know too much 24 hours a day . Way too much .

It is as it is

Its a sunny unseasonal winters day but i cant complain cos its finaly stopped raining . Going out for dinner with some people I havent seen for years , so should be good to catch up . Then its off to watch The Hobbit tonight hopefuly at Morecambe . If I dont go and see it now I will never find the opportunity to go . Feeling uneasy as the Christmas holidays end and a new year unfolds before me . But there again apparently Im always uneasy anyway ! Work is what I need for sure and less facebook I expect . What a way to communicate .....

Get Focused.... groan !

Today feels like March .Today I finally got my car on the ramps to investigate an ever increasingly annoying buzzing noise coming from the fan belt area . Its a worn idler pulley . Its taken me months to find the right weather , time and window of enthusiasm to sort this problem . Next on the agenda the squeaking rear brakes ( probably next spring ) LOL

A good hard days work

Had a good day clearing trees from a river bank that were hanging over too far making mowing a field awkward in the summer time . The added bonus was a big pile of fire wood when finished . It feels good cutting wood and sorting out natures excess as the days begin to brighten a little . A hard days work feels good after my Christmas excess and sitting around too much .Being busy is what I need at the moment .

Fuel

Tommorow i have the joys of changing my Focus fuel filter in my father -in-laws pit . Oh joy to the world... Its the time of year for fixing and mending ! Never an easy task but rewarding when you make those three steps forward before been knocked back the enviatable two .

Pointless view ?

Its a unique time of year when you loose track after Christmas of what day it is . It feels like a Sunday but its Wednesday .. I think ? Any way it will be the weekend soon again , not that it will matter much cos it will still feel like the holidays .Ooops it is tuesday !
