GETTING OUT ?

Recently I have been pondering a re-occuring number 23 in my life, and all I think this means to me. I then realised while considering the idea of coming a full circle , that I have slowly stopped doing all the things I used to enjoy such as going to Banger racing , Fishing, and going to the Cinema for example, Car Shows down South are a no go nowadays too with a toddler in tow. Your pleasures in life can be slowly eroded away. How has this happened ? Today I do nothing ! This must, and is going to change.

  Maybe Fatherhood took its toll , maybe my mystical journey made me forget such simple pleasures, who knows ? What I do know is I am going to return to these simple pleasures again. Its all a battle though when you loose the will to get out  of your house, and as you get older you are tired at the end of a day... Yes, Im returning to the many activities and routines in my  gave life that gave me pleasure before the cataclysim of the past 5 years.

   I also lost several friendships with people who I could tell anything to last year, and now things are looking a little brighter there too ( well I live in hope.) To go for a walk and talk  was a real luxury back then. I now realise how much Ive missed these people, and how inward looking Ive become since events carried them away and out of my sphere.

  And another thing ; why do women getting together have all the fun ? When was the last time men got together for a banter ? Er , never as we are always working . This must change too !

Soul mates ?

Soul mates. Of course you married yours didn't you ? Really ? I suggest this concept is purely an over sentimental pipe dream. A soul mate could be anyone of any age or nationality anywhere in the world, and you just all happened to stumble on yours and marry them ?
   Seriously though a Soul mate if found is highly likely to be separated from you by social, geographical or even age related obstacles. Marriage is unlikely here. These  obstacles will plague your relationship with them and cause much turmoil as you try to acquire as much " time " as you can in their presence. A Soul mate is not a story with a happy ending then ?
   A soul mate will see the world, even the mundane parts of it in the same off colour type way as you do. Their social or lack of social skills will also be like yours and that  bond is what separates you from the rest of the world. Yes, however much you have in common, this wont help your social situation or is very unlikely to bring any advantages to it.
   Have I met any Soul mates ( and I ask this question very carefully on my 6 wedding anniversary lol ) ? Yes, more than one, maybe ( and is that likely either ? ) and they were people I would never marry as well. And no I don't see them nowadays either ! Now that's realistic !!!!

An unexpected hazard !

 

 

I have just renewed  my front brakes for the second time this Winter on my Ford Focus. Why ?  Damage caused by forever of loose roads chippings that came from last years botched re-surfacing attempt by a council sub-contractor. How could chippings cause such destruction ? I wonder if anyone else has had this problem ? Probably not...

" The rental market has never been more buoyant ... "     Yeah, thats part of the problem really !

Who will survive, and what will be left of them ?

Its a bright sunny Summers day and all is green with new grass and pale green  fresh leaves. Total renewal is the order of the day as I look out of my window. Its in this spirit I have opened a new fb page. I shall be sending friends requests out once again. Some may not make it through this elimination round ! This could be for reasons you may find are unexpected, or not entirely as negative as you may imagine : )

The trick I guess online is to not let your Blog become Face Book, or let your Face Book become as detailed as your a Blog. It is with this in mind that ive adapted a saying to my own requirements for a rule on such postings...

 That which is to be said must be spoken. That which cant be spoken must be blogged. That which cant be blogged probably isnt worth saying so will go on Face Book instead...lol !

My little girl Evie has a slight temperature and is groggy, its going to be a hot, squirming day....

This video captures the two faces or reality's of Britain I think ;the Southern Motorway City type area of the South, and the Northern closer to nature half of our country such as Scotland for example, or possibly even Cornwall.. . Of course many ,including myself  holiday in the Northern Scottish half, but we forget this land still exists when we've all gone back home at the end of our holiday, and its still there existing during our everyday lives, but we rarely give much thought to that fact...are there causes and effects that influence us between these two different worlds  or " reality's "? Does one affect the other ?

Over 35 ? Still Attractive ?

There is something about a good looking woman over 35 who still has her figure, and still takes a pride in her appearance. She will turn men's heads, though she may never realise to what extent this is so as we live in a youth biased society. Further more she may be surprised to learn how many younger men maybe noticing her. Again I can vouch  for this having watched men younger than my self. Such rare women often seem to have distilled in them a strong sense of an Archetypal aura. They are mature, maybe a mother figure, but also are still aware of their femininity, but in a classic self assured way. They are the sirens amongst us. Most importantly they are of a mental level that younger women do not even realise exists . Again this is yet another plus for them. Yes they are winners all round ( though many will be quite neurotic about their younger competitors ) However as a man I maybe naive in thinking they don't notice the attractions they cause, as ive often found women are often 3 steps ahead of a what a man is at any time thinking..!

Barbon Hill Climb

Today Ive been at an annual tradition; The Barbon Hill Climb, and no its not a walking event, its a Motorsport event in which competitors do timed runs in their cars to the top of a hill, hence the name Hill Climb. As usual the morning saw torrential rain, but as it blew out in the afternoon I went along any way. Somehow as with these modern times everyone else I knew was too busy to go, so I ended up going on my own some...

An Isolated Incident ?

Today two pupils were caught pouring bleach into their teachers drink while his back was turned. This comes after last weeks fatal stabbing of a teacher that countless media trained , PR , educational consultant types came on T.V and radio to say was a  " terrible but isolated incident "   How wrong they were I thought at the time. O.K todays incident was a copy cat incident, but the will was there to carry out such an act, and that's worrying . Schools have changed since my day, and children have less respect for teachers and I would go so far as to say we are all scared of today's children .

Scared to even touch them or look a little to long or in the " wrong " way at them , and they know it !!!

Children have had us on the run for a generation, and as I'm now a parent its my problem as well, even if it is only with a two year old bolshy toddler. Even at this age children are cleverer , more observant , rebellious and finely tune in and ready to manipulate you . Any one who is a parent will agree. Things have changed. God knows we are needing a mindset other than a swishy washy , politically minded hogwash mantra to bring them up with and we need to restore some kind of balance to their behaviour and how they relate to us adults ! Well ,where would you start ?

A MIND F*&^% OF GIGANTIC PREPORTIONS !!!

Its slipping, can you feel it ? Reality is actually bending, or beginning to bend. Im not talking about my mystical Golden Blog malarkey here, but the everyday facts about how life is perceived in this once great country of Britain. Of course we have always had " spin " , but today there is a new level of deception that's based on an attrition of repeating a lie, though whether the established authority's actually believe their own propaganda we can only speculate...

   Today things went too far, much to far when it was discovered that recent large falls in the crime figures were down to at least one police force we know of just not recording the true levels of offences that happened, this lower crime rate was until today regarded as a result of the " economic " recovery, and news reports were up until today all up beat. Of course we see how you " reach targets "; you don't record all the crimes. Pathetic, and if this was in any other country, boy would we put the boot into them and laugh. Not long ago we were told that " people were just afraid of the perception of crime " if they didn't feel safe anymore as the stats said we had never had it so good .Don't let them bend your reality!  Theft is out of control in countryside at the moment, to compare this situation to the wild west is not a silly analogy.

Of course the biggest reality bending job is being done on the economy. We are constantly told the recession has ended and we are all now better off, this is being repeated to such a level that soon if you aren't admitting to feeling this " recovery " you will be deemed a fool. This government is again trying to bully you mentally into giving into this new " reality " . Low inflation ? RUBBISH ! Why am I shopping at Aldi like many people I know then ?

A third false reality is that the economic deficit is being paid off nicely . NOT TRUE . We are 115 billion pounds short of making ends meet yet ( and I remember when they did meet ) They repeat this lie day in and out too . To consider this fact not true is unacceptable. Only last minute figure juggling to show a saving of a mere 5 billion of 120 borrowed allowed this Coalition Government to save face. If you owed £120 and payed off £5 you would hardly consider it anything ...Worst of all this £120 billion is to all borrow again next year ! Doh...

Immigration ( net. 200,000 ) , Inflation , Crime , Public Deficiet ....ALL HIGH  !

 WATCH OUT AS ITS HARD WORK HOLDING ON TO THE TRUTH, AND THEY KNOW IT.... GOOD LUCK OUT THERE !!!
