I Love Round Up !

In fact I love Round Up. I have treated acres of our land with it this summer, clearing masses of rushes that were just taking over. Ive used it on Ivy too that is damaging buildings and my garden wall. I'm not playing devils advocate here, just stating what an essential tool this is when fighting a pitch battle against nature. Many think nature is benign. It is not. It just wants to destroy EVERYTHING in you physical life and possesions. Is it not so ? THINK....

  Of course the real problem have with Round Up is because it is made by MONSANTO who are heavily involved with GM foods. In fact this herbicide has the same cancer risk as alcohol. Not a fact banded around much on the web.

I did however hear that it is sprayed directly onto corn before harvesting to help the husk dry faster. That seems just plain mad I must admit despite it being deemed safe. I guess its application needs common sense ?

Well my blogs have had their high and low points over the years, and to be honest they kept me sane during turbulent times, but this week my sole viewings were through a variety of Porn sites. This is definitely rock bottom ( no pun intended )  In the past ive had 5o or 60 page views a day through VampireStats.com at times. And no, ive not a clue what that is either. The internet can be a dark place.

An unexpected Bastard !

Apparently today ive been seeking a " bastard " !   Well that's what a certain sized bolt is called in engineering terms. That's its proper name. The store clerk told me this term is a well known name for this bolt of an " in between " length and girth, a special name reserved for this awkward oddity of unusual dimensions. It is not a generic term but a specific one for the bolt of this size, and its not a joke, though tonight I wonder if he was pulling my leg...but he seemed 100% serious.
