Random acts of violence

 Well its been quite a stressful Christmas but I heard some news that took the biscuit as they say this week. It seems a car of 4 men all drug dealers randomly attacked my cousins son and his friend as they were going about their Christmas shopping. The men were shouting abuse before hand and seemed to be looking for trouble. The best part however is that they bit off more than they could chew...

My cousin is in his 20's and built like a brick you know what. He is also very good at Mixed Martial Arts. In fact he often " beats " his tutor in competition. Within 30 seconds he had knocked one man out and had another crawling on his hands and knees. Luckily the police were just driving by and heard the shouts of the two mens girl friends whom they were shopping with. My cousin says he was disappointed when the police turned up as he was going to teach them all a lesson they would not forget. And lets be honest that is the only thing they would understand.

Years ago I and a friend  had a were the victim of a drug dealer and his side kick in an un-provoked violent attack. A guy just walked up to me and head butted me in the face while another kicked my friend to the ground resulting in a hospital over night stay. You dont forget a random attack. Its the nastiest and shocking kind. The local hospital knew the name of the assailant  and had seen many examples of his " handy work " over the years. These two guys were an utter waste of space.

Last year I heard the man who had attacked me back then had died a nasty death by Motor Neuron disease. On hearing the news I felt quite pleased. He wasnt going to beat the crap out of anymore innocent people and it seemed like karma somehow. A relation attended the funeral where friends and family of the man rejoiced in what a great kind and wonderful guy he was. He was a piece of shit. Why do people do that ?

I wonder if the men who attacked my cousin will ever see a trial. Nowadays its all drug rehabilitation courses and community service which thieves and criminals just laugh at and dont turn up. They dont even bother to turn up at court or obey curfews. I know this from experience regarding a quad bike theft. Crime is not punished with prison if its root cause can be attributed to drugs in anyway. This has to change. We need need to protect the everyday man from these animals.

This also brings me onto the fact that horrendous assaults, theft and the cruel killing of animals in ways I cannot print on here have all gone unpunished by the Police in this valley. I watched a family feud take place just up the road from me. Time and time again terrible acts went unpunished and court orders ignored. Its destroyed my faith in any justice in this land.

The problem is the vaccine. Covid will not be allowed to disappear before the solution. 

The real problem

 It suddenly ( i use that word far too much ) dawned on me today that it is not the Covid virus that is causing so much misery in the UK at the moment but our beloved National Health Service ! Everything is being sacrificed on an alter to spare its resources. Its all political of course as no politician wants to see an over loaded health service on its watch hence they will do anything to spare it being stretched. Our restricted movements slow down the stats but they rise again anyway quickly. When all this is finished we will have an extra 350 billion debt over the planned 50 and very little to show for it... Its a health service. Lets see it being responsible for our health. Like most organizations it seems to shirk from doing what it should.

Hubble bubble...

 Im sat watching the news. This mornings was like a comedy. Details of the up coming relaxing of restrictions were being aired. The official term for this is " bubbling " What can you do in your limited people bubble ? How many people from how many households should you invite to your Christmas dinner  bubble? You can invite old people but it is not advised. You should avoid hugging or kissing and meet outdoors where possible. Board games are a no, no as you might pass on the virus.

Im now watching the tea time news and the tone has changed. Seems we are rapidly talking our selves out of Christmas. The media are going into over drive looking to Europe for advice and Europe seems to be sliding towards tougher restrictions this week. Funny how as we leave Europe we look to these countries for inspiration. 

I have visited family against the guide lines this week and from next year I shall continue. The only reason this area is in a high restriction zone is the ethnic shit holes that are in a neighboring  county but over 100 miles away. This is a well accepted fact. By shit hole I class illegal sweat shops that exploit workers even under lockdown. They ignore all rules, health and safety, not just Covid ones. Arranged marriages are common and white child sexual abuse is common and ignored in these areas to.

 This is the big point. If these areas were controlled properly then the rest of us could go about our normal lives. I may seem to be contradicting myself here but for most places the risk is over egged. Its all a question of risk and looking rationally at things not hysterical generalizing. This 2nd wave is nothing like the supposed 1st.

Still sounds great to me after 40 years. How many albums can you say that about ? I remember buying this on tape and based as many youngsters did at the time no doubt purely on the album cover picture...lol Turned out to be a wise choice though. Sometimes you have snatches of music that play through your head periodically for many years. They become a part of you. This is my example. It is me and always will be. I found myself listening most nights during lockdown to this on You Tube. It kept me sane...I think.

I attempted to cross an entire country in a straight line. PART 1

This is my latest You Tube obsession. Its a simple idea or maybe not so simple to act out in real life. Its a very strange feeling walking across private land or property. As a Farmer I feel uneasy walking on a footpath across someone elses field. I think this guy is addicted to the adrenaline fix and would quite like to be caught ! This could be an ideal pastime to counter the boredom of 2020. On second thoughts maybe not !

Well at least the crowd rebelled. But why is it automatically expected that we agree ? On a different note my 8 year old daughter tried an experiment a while ago whilst playing her favourite online game Robux. Seeing another player was calling themselves " black lives matter " she decided to copy them. No problem occurred so she tried substituting the colour " red " and again no problem, but when she tried to called herself " white lives matter " her characters name was covered over with hash tag symbols. I mean is this where we are today ? She learnt an important lesson that day in that some things she sees on the TV and learns at school may have a hidden side and agenda. Oh, and dont start me on that idiot Lewis Hamilton...

 I feel a growing but subtle sense of boredom. Its rapidly growing each day now. I need my old life back with all its trivial pass times. Turns out they werent so trivial after all.

Crass, stupid  or just a pure wind up to get your attention ? I came across this advert while searching for another Black Friday advert that I couldn't believe I saw on national TV. Unfortunately I couldn't find it on You tube and im guessing it was quickly taken off air. In fact I rewound my TV via the Sky Box just to check I hadn't imagined it. Basically there was an all black family having a Christmas party with a lone white midget ! Just plain weird and what the message was behind this I dread to think, probably the result of a millennial advertising employee's over enthusiastic politically correct mind in overdrive. Not even the BBC could come up with this crap and they are getting worse by the day, literally. God help 2021 !

The fag end of Summer

A dull cool August Sunday afternoon that feels as though someone has sucked the life out of it.

Little Miss Early ate her breakfast at 5am. She was always early. Lunch came at 10 and tea at 2, by 4 it was supper time, closely followed by tommorows breakfast at midnight. Despite her constant earliness her bed time did however remain consistantly late.
  One summers morning as she sat on her door step, as she always did when waiting for the postman at 6am, Mr Explode unexpectedly stormed by.
" Why, whatever are you doing up at this time ? " He barked
" I might ask you the same question Mr explode ! " She chirped.
" Cant sleep " he growled. " Just cant sleep. Too sunny. Bed faces east. Sun in my eyes. Hate the summer. Got to do something about it. Hate the summer..." And with that comment he began his rant again... And in the bored and impatient mind of Little Miss early a plan was hatching.
" Maybe you need a break from things ? Would you like to stay with me a while ? She suggested.
" Well..." he began, as he prepared to launch into a rage.
" Oh, please say yes and dont explode Mr, erm...Explode " She chuckled.
" I guess a few days might do me good "

I might have to go " on holiday by mistake " this year...

My beloved Radio 4

Well ive finally done it. One night things came to a head as yet another  " news report " on LBGT issues  caused me to flip and throw my radio out of the bedroom door. It landed in several pieces down the hall way. I dont listen to the news on my TV much either nowadays. Ive reached saturation point for bull shit.

If all else fails try...

I have a confession. I rather like BBC Radio Wales. Simple presenters with that Welsh accent that i find mildly amusing, who play reasonable music and they avoid talking about anything in the news or discussing anything to do with modern out looks on sexuality or the environment. Its heaven after years of listening to national BBC radio station. There is even a good radio reception here in the hills for it to, even on a tractor. So all in all im happier, and the only shit i experience now is that which im spreading...
