All seems to be too good to be true ?

The Golf GTI like the one I'm hoping to test soon

So ive reached the stage when I need a new car. Its been 4 years since i last did that and the memories of all the hassle I had dealing with garages is still fresh in my mind. In fact I dont think i could face it again to be honest. Those short test drives with the hard sell coming afterwards, and little time to really judge the car properly. So with this in mind ive decide to resort to doing the whole thing through an online company. Sounds awful ? Well I get to keep the car for a week to test drive, and if i wish return it free of charge should i not be 100% happy with it. Thats plenty of time to really drive the car on the crappy roads where i live and get a very good feel for it. Im very indecisve when it comes to cars so this is a biggy for me as they say. Also no salesmen are involved only a delivery driver ! Lets see how this goes...

I Bought $13,000 In Wheels For My Civic

I dont expect many people to watch all 20 minutes of this guy test fitting his wheels but just want to say that finding him on You Tube has been an event for me. Obsessed Garage is the correct name alright. This man takes every detail seriously on his cars. He know what he likes and he knows himself. Like me he feels a great excitement when a item is " right " and his quest for this is no doubt unpleasant at times as his confession of suffering from OCD confirms in another film. He has a whole philosophy to washing cars too and one that he carries over into other parts of his life. If we all had the time / money and circumstances to chase perfection what would we create ? So I need a garage, no work, a heap of disposable income and some USA type never ending perfect sunshine...lol I'm also wise enough to know that anything I value gets damaged. Its like a red rag to a bull. Hell sometimes it even was a bull, literally...

Chris Whitty urges people to stay home in new Covid campaign

Very cleverly marketed. Short punchy lines in a bunch of 3.   1, 2, 3 manifestation !  Even if you disagree you dont want to harm the good old NHS do you ? Another one is playing the dirty card that you may harm someone else if you go " out " Hell if I lived like that i'd never go anywhere again. Which brings me to the greatest slogan " Act like youve got it " Utter insanity.
The P.R creator here is or rather was Domonic Cummings. He was caught travelling 300 miles in lockdown from London to a holiday house...

The New Way

Today I went into town to do some " essential " shopping as the new lockdown rules allow. I then went a walk around Kendal castle with my daughter as is allowed. Its all about the mindset and not giving into the fear they pump out. In my head Im free and thats the goal here. Do not become a slave to their thinking and keep things in proportion and push the rules. Its the only way. Life must go on.

As likely as a snow ball in hell

Today I had a revelation. A Conservative government would never put the economy at risk to help the vulnerable. It simply is not in their political DNA. Social care was never a priority for them and the economy for them was a god to fall down before. Spend an extra £400 billion to protect the old ? Simply just doesnt add up. Add to this fact the Labour party lost the last election due to outrageous spending plans that have now being equaled by the winning Conservatives and it all looks a bit pre-planned. A huge cash injection was and is deemed necessary for some reason...
