Its no laughing matter

I have just been watching Comedy Gold . Old comedys i havent watched since the eighties or even the seventies . PORRIDGE , OPEN ALL HOURS and YES PRIMEMINISTER are the best . Properly written . They dont have to be obscene too get a laugh or vulgar and there are no twenty something cunts trying to be funny with too much hair and too tight funny coloured jeans. No, real men who were really funny back in the day before every tv show had to have a fit woman appearing in it to get peoples attention . Comedy for comedys sake . I mean NOT GOING OUT or TWO PACKETS... Come on i mean they dont compare......

September upheaval

Well its September . The begining of the end of summer , and its been a wet one and its been a odd one and a none event one too . Just treading water you might say ( no pun intended ) An uneasy time as change is bound as the landscape changes colour as all dies . Dark nights are welcome as are moonlight nights and cold starry ones . Cool days are welcome though . Messing about transporting wood down to our fire from the farm is a pain and irratates me more each year . ( well i would have it )  All the rage though.... Once all the leaves have fallen and the tree's will est the true atomosphere of winter . It will be an absolute and i like absolutes . Absolutes i can do . Uncertainty i hate . Long periods of uncertainty are unbearable as i like to make a plan in life and have a general picture of where im going as i expect we all do . 
   Watching a dvd tonight ( why are they souless ? videos never were , maybe modern films have nothing new to say ?)  and i shall light a fire ( probaly wont LOL but i like the idea )  . A quiet night for me as Rachel is out on a hen night . I will also mow the lawn ( probaly wont at all )  Tis the time of year for squaring up personal , home and work issues as winter in all aspects approaches .....
   Right !!! A wedding approaches too soon in my local church . One im suprised to see and would not have put money on . Watching them walking down the isle will be quite an event . Quite an event indeed !!!!! Ha ha ha well life is never dull . I wonder what the next turn of events is . Hopefully a full circle is achieved . Yes a full circle would be good by me . LOL
