A true rant

I loath spokesmen for  any charity or pressure groups . They are ALL one trick ponies . They all stick to their mantra . They have no sense of relativity , proportion or adjustment for varying facts . They only have the " party " line. Every incident is taken to the extreme . They feather their own nests while the heads of the organisations are on 100K  . Vermin.

Tone it down !

Every morning I watch BBC BREAKFAST .  I have done this for about 20 years . Mostly because my parents watch it and I work on our farm and come up for my breakfast every morning . Whats annoying me is , and this applies to other presenters on tv shows too ; shouting ! Presenters now talk in a tone that has gone up to an alarming level . Gone is the relaxed quietly spoken presenter . Now they are speaking as though they are scared stiff you aint listening to them . Their voices are strained . You cant concentrate or read with the tv on in the back ground anymore . The vocal tones are designed to allow you no respite as long they talk . I guess its a natural progression and looking back to tv presenters in black and white days you just laugh at how odd they sound now . Anyway Im finding it increasingly irritating , even stressful . Another sign of the times....
