A little reminder

Today I bought some quality metal cutting discs from a reputable hardware store only to find they showered my face in red hot debris when I started cutting . Now sparks are normal and you take care at what angle you cut but I have never experienced this amount of disintegration  . No damage done except a mouth of grit and a cut lip . Luckily I had eye protection on or I could have been blinded . The problem is a modern one CRAP  product ! Cutting ( no pun intended ) corners no less .
  This little incident reminds me that as we get older our luck starts to run out ! When your young nothing much touches you . You drive too fast , you mess about on cliff tops ect and think your invincible . Today I stumble . Today accidents seem to line up and im much more careful . Maybe we have a guardian angel till a certain age and after that we take our chances......

Holiday

It seems a portion of my family will be coming on holiday after all , but only for half of the week . What I,m gonna do with the rest of my time alone I haven't a clue . Ive never spent days alone in my entire life . It shall be an interesting experiment . Wake up alone . Fill in all that time . Go to bed alone . It will be a learning curve . I shall see things differently when I return home Im sure .
 Other holidays have changed me in the past , in a good and sometimes bad way ! I think this is another event I must go through . Ive always wanted the chance to see how it feels to holiday on my own . I seem to get what I desire very quickly nowadays . If I want it its never far away . If I think it somebody will bring it into my sphere . Im starting to notice this.....
