Sunday

Well today's plans have been thrown into chaos . Ive had this feeling before . Quite annoyed as I have an urgent situation to attend too , and finally I having built up some momentum to proceed ,  once again  ( this time not self inflicted ) my plans have been quashed . Usually this is just life re-aligning to a better set of circumstances for success in the future . Not all set backs are negative , as ive learnt .
   Its a cold Sunday today with torrential ( is there any other type nowadays ) rain showers . Its a day to stop inside as long as possible . My brother in law is visiting and has gone on a long up hill bike ride with my sister this morning . Madness ! People who do non manual jobs just cant wait to exhaust them selves ,mean while those who do those jobs spend time with a lap top to relax . Whatever is the opposite to your everyday routine seems to be the goal ! lol
  I was reading of someone who was upset at a family members suddenly perilous health situation and I am reminded of a shock I also learnt of this week regarding an Uncle who due to health problems has no form of income and is experiencing a severe crises on all fronts due to this  . He is as many will know a family legend in his views , solitary lifestyle ect , ect . I only went on holiday with him a few months ago  , and how fast a crises can engulf someone , though I feel many always new this day would come but that doesn't take away the shock of its reality . Losing your independence , transport and income and health all in a short space of time must be shocking for him , and us to witness as well . He is not going to be the man we once knew again although I have seen people bounce back . Lets all hope so....
   I think everyone enjoyed our family bonfire last night . We were very lucky as a lull in the wind and rain mysteriously for a couple of hours made the night do able . What are the odds of the Aga playing up just as my mother had food for about twenty people to cook ? It had only being serviced a few weeks ago ? Bizarre ! The thunder and lightening before we light the fire wasn't typical neither !  Anyway we had great intense fire despite a days rain due to some " additional " items added ! I just wish my daughter Evie had been able to watch , but she was too tired and the weather wasn't exactly ideal . Never mind .

A fast moving front...

Every know and again a very brief spell occurs in TV advertising where a new brand of risky humour breaks out as if suddenly liberated from years of repression , and then as quickly as it comes , its gone again leaving me disappointed as all returns to the old  normal formula of creating desire via my TV screen . Its a brief flash of the new breaking out , but its destroyed so fast , but next time it happens maybe the " squares " wont get their way !!!
