Last year we had the " Military Wives Choir " . A group of serviceman's wives who recorded a song to promote the army no less and draw awareness to what exactly im still not sure . I gave my views on that quite plainly last year too . But this years effort has really sunk low , really low . How this group of innocent girls have been used as a PR tool by their own parents to promote the bloody , immoral and fucking horrendous act of war staggers me . Yes the soldiers are very brave , yes we are grateful , but this song is nothing to do with war . Its aimed at dense X-Factor audience types who live in rough council estates  ( the same type who want to hang people for unfashionable crimes ) and go teary eyed they will . This is a very good example of what I heard described recently as our touchy , feely morally vicious world . Yes this is aimed at the type of person who reads The Daily Mirror . When you look back to the mind games they used to promote joining the army in the World Wars you can see we haven't come far really have we despite our " modern " educated society . For my final parting shot may I suggest if you have children WTF are you doing in the army ???  A recklessness of gigantic proportions...  Papering over the reality of war with scenes that display family love is a crime . It makes me sick . Its a trick we would expect from a tyrant or Korea . These are dangerous times when to oppose war puts you in collision with family bonds displayed in this video . Someone is very clever behind this and VERY  dangerous . Be warned !!!

Bang , bang , bang , bang , bang , bang , bang , bang , boom !

I have just got back from Dent bonfire . A family bonfire ?  Well judging by the almighty fucking racket of fire works that were more reminiscent of a battle field in Afghanistan you may think otherwise . Yes they always are noisy , but nowadays a bang must accompany EVERY flash . Its reached over kill and all you get is a constant banging punctuated with a boom . Its a none stop barrage of noise  , a bloody annoyance . So how are toddlers meant to cope ? Its a typical modern overkill . Too obvious , too loud ,  too desperate ? I really must be getting older..
