Cant sleep ?

Ive said it once, and I shall say it again. The BBC World Service is worth the Television Licence fee alone. Its fresh, its world orientated, and its snappy reporting and magazine type programs based on people who have been in truly extraordinary situations due to life is simply fascinating. This station doesn't just report the conventional news stories, but also finds the more interesting and obscure subjects. And the best part is the stations jingle that has an Indian, world type of sound, but with a slightly off and edgy pitch to it. It grabs my attention, excites me, captures the spirit of the station, and I never tire of hearing it. All in all the perfect station !

Anyone remember the notorious 90's film " Trainspotting "   ? Not sure if George Osborne realises he's plagiarised from the film, maybe someone else even wrote the speech. Either way its quite funny !  And it has really pissed of left wing Irvine Welsh who wrote the orginal novel.Oh yes, he's not a happy chappy....
