Its really quite simple

Why are our hospital accident and emergency sections overwhelmed ? 

Because our local Doctors and hospital Consultants don't work weekends. Surely some cover could be arranged with alternation  ? Only when you need a surgeon at a weekend do you really see the insanity of this situation !
