It was back in 2011 when I first started my blogs and I guess it was all about releasing a pent up stress. Yes, I followed my heart back then and this triggered a seismic change for my life. Those days were crazy and full of passion which eventually spawned The Golden Blog. Blogging definitely kept me " sane " or rather channelled a little energy into a alternative situation. If I had posted the above picture to my other blog then I would be waxing lyrical about all sorts, but this post is more about the down to earth aspects of blogging.

Reading anothers blog definitely got me through a rough time. The Sleep of Reason was a daily grounding for me. It was a space to admit that some people are different and are not all people are " pedestrian ". It was a breath of fresh air when I needed it.

Its the eternal mystery. Why do so few people comment ? Another mystery is Blogger stats. How can a post get several hundred views and no one or only one  person comments ? I dont believe that many people have read it. I get weird rhythmical spikes of page views sometimes of 50 every 2 days. I dont know. These big figures seem to occur on my other blog though and this ones existence is running on nostalgia for past times. Do you ever look back at all your old posts ? Every now and again I smile as I read my old writing and Im taken right back to those crazy days. Did I do some ranting on here or what ? lol

Drone footage of queues at a petrol station as motorists told not to pan...

Britain is grinding to a halt. Lack of delivery drivers and tightened immigration rules after Brexit are now taking there toll on every industry from building to cafes. Funnily it hasnt affected illegal immigration which is now seeing record numbers of up to 900 people a day crossing the channel to the UK from France. I would normally say that panic buying is dumb, but when there simply isnt enough fuel being delivered then what else are people to do ?

This country is crumbling and every damn stupid policy decision that ive ranted about is now coming to fruition. All the stupidity, all the knee jerk dumb lazy attitudes are finally manifesting in the economy and its not pretty. I have a feeling its going to be chaotic winter. But people are already scared of winter. I think they associate winter with lock down and life been put acceptably on hold. I think they want to mentally give up during winter and live life to the full in summer. A kind of seasonal disorder which I can relate to ...and maybe Im projecting here ?

One good thing about living in the countryside is that the low population means the petrol at small stations lasts longer, however in a large
town deliveries are daily so any increase in demand by say panic buying very quickly creates a problem. Seeing lots of "out of order " signs on pumps is worrying, but this problem is just the tip of the iceberg. I remember the ridiculous situation last year when we were told that no one could visit your house on Christmas day after being told a week before it would be OK. We live in an age when anything at all can be cancelled out of existence at any moment. Thats modern Britain.
