Fun fact - there is not a duff track on this album ! Well, maybe Im sick of hearing Wind of Change and thats because it was played to death back in the day, but its not a bad song even for that. There is an energy to this album that I find connected to autumn. A rawness. Actually in the same vein is Skid Rows Sub Human Race album. Again, not a duff track on that one either, and again just sounds so good as the harsh weather and dark nights close in.
More metal albums without a duff track ( and there arent as many as you first imagine ) are Iron Maidens Killers album and Ive been listening to that for nearly 40 years. That sounds insane but it came out in 1980, so...Guns n Roses Appetite for Destruction has no duff tracks either . Its not natural for a CD to be 100% pleasing with no " filler " tracks. It may be most common in a bands early albums ? Oh, and Metallicas ( just typed Meatallica lol ) Ride the Lightening is another. Yep, early albums seem the best.
