My daughter now soon to be 13 called me " utterly delusional " on some subjects the other day, and " absolutely obsessed " with others and added I " didnt have a sensible brain cell in my head " She was focusing on something at the time that was a bit controversial I admit. She is very open minded to most of my observations but occasionally a diatribe of opposition spills out. " Nobody else thinks like you " is another favorite.
Its hard for a young person to hold beliefs that are contrary to what most perceive and its a social no, no too stand out from the crowd as a teenager. So I guess I shouldnt take it all to heart then. She is good at balancing up views with cold logic which is a skill in itself in the right time or place.
