So this was the scene I came across on Monday morning. During the night someone had a serious accident involving a tree. The level of destruction here does not match the location that is only about 100 meters out of the village. There are no skid marks at all, and what speed was the car going to break that tree in half ?
The tree is not even on the corner. I heard the woman and her passenger were known for their drinking. Somehow they walked away with just a damaged ankle. Imagine what would have happened if that car hit you or your vehicle. Speed is one thing but being under the influence when driving is another. This valley is not forgiving if you make a mistake of judgement. As I keep saying, it's dangerous and should not be taken lightly.
