Taking Out The Trash

Today i heard a man had died of Motor Neuron disease. This wasnt just any man, but one who had been responsible for a violent random assault on me and a friend about 20 years ago. My friend was kicked to the ground after being headbutted, and had i fallen the same treatment would have been dished out to me. 
  The worst thing was that at the hospital they new exactly who this man was from our description, and further more they confessed  they dealt with his victims came on a regular basis.  This was a blood sport and fun to him. I heard later he was sent to prison for dealing drugs soon after the assault. 
  This person was a nasty piece of shit, though a friend said everyone sang his praises at the funeral.  He said nothing of what he knew to be the truth, but it reeled inside of him. The streets are safer without him alive, and i wonder how much suffering he caused in total. 
  One spin off is that ever since that day, when i am in public, i am totally alert and aware of where everyone around me is ,and aware of who is approaching me and what mood they seem to carry. This instinct gets even stronger at night...

Ive seen some dumb sentimental cynical shit in adverts, but tonight this takes the biscuit, The only reason a smart meter is being marketed for electric isnt to save the planet, its so they can charge you more for using less in the long run. Electric usage has fallen substantially in previous years, but our bills are going UP still ?!
