So so

Ive not posted much this week . Its been another trying week again ! Nothing majour just constant annoying little things going wrong for weeks . This morning was a bit better and ive got some jobs done after weeks of hassle . Sorted out some fb shit too . Eventualy it brings you annoyance . I have alaways expected this as im no different to anyone else ... Well its a nice winters day in Dent and the church bells are chiming away and im doing a few jobs in the house ( man jobs ) dont worry . Been hot and rash like with allergy type stuff this week which was getting me down on top of all the other stuff but think im making progress there hopefuly . Feeling a bit morose at the moment , seasonal by products i expect .

Lets hammer this out

Today i ordered a new SDS dewalt hammer drill . I am going to drill holes in stone. Not maybe . Everyone reaches a point when summat has to be done . Ive took action at last .

Funny afternoon

Went for a short walk today by our river . Its a very mellow atomosphere a river has on a winters afternoon at this time of year . The leaves have all gone and the water seems dead . In fact some of the biggest fish will now be migrating up to Dent so all is not as it appeared . Fading light leaves me feeling melancholy thinking back over the past year . Wow ( and i say it every year i know !) what an eventful year its been . And as usual its turned out better than i thought but i couldnt sum it up in a single mood or word ah well maybe volatile !!! Always contradicting my self . Nothings changed there .

Smash it to fuck , the shitting b********

Yesterday as today has been a bastard of a day . A burst pipe at a busy time cocked everything up . Trying to mend it my angle grinder wouldnt let me change the cutting disc , I got so frustrated i threw the angle grinder across the yard and revved off in my car to Littlefairs and bought a big fuck off one in a big fuck off box . Its new . It even has a diamond disc . I'll cut what i want to now and when ! Also bought some eye protection goggles . The old fashioned geeky ones . Not bloody designer " safety glasses " with silly tints . No the type we used at school in the eighties . The type that no spark can get anywhere near your eyes . Funnily enough i heard another close family member had lost her temper that day and thrown her printer against a door . Well it runs in the family... But how much better do you feel after an act of violence ? Let it out i tell ya !

Feeling uneasy again

Feeling very uneasy at the moment but I havent a clue why ? Its so tangible I could cut it with a knife . Why is the million dollar question . Is it winter uncompromisingly shutting the land down ? Maybe its the start of a new idea or jaunt ? Damned if I know .

Sedbergh health centre

While in Sedbergh's new health centre I noticed the consulting rooms are named after the surrounding dales: Dent , Garsdale ect. So up pops my name on the tv screen in the waiting room . DAVID  , GARSDALE to DOCTOR LUMB . Really irratating cos im from Dent not Garsdale . OK i know its only refereing to the consulting room " Garsdale " but it is bloody annoying and throws you cos these are names of local places you have known for like 40 odd years so when this stupid tv screen makes it sound like you live somewhere you dont you wanna throw a brick at it . Why not call the rooms something less confusing ? Anything in fact ... Strange how when you visit your local computer key board tapping G.P you rehearse what your gonna say ( am i the only one ? ) as if your making a sales pitch and must convince them you need a result here . Why ? I dont ever remember doing this years ago . Maybe I'm the one I'm trying to convince... oooh my head hurts lets not go here . Worst of all did on exiting both the main enterence and each consulting room your given a right or left hand door to choose from ! Confusing , and embaressing if you get it wrong . Especialy the main exit pair near the waitng room cos if you get it wrong you must turn back on yourself with everyone in the waiting room watching . All in all designed by an idiot or maybe the same person who designed Exetor service station ( another rant another time !) A trivial rant today but one that needed airing none the less . P.S One good point there is a new Spar shop next door... result ! Why are my paragraphs been edited out ? Aaaaarh

Allergy

Yeah I was expecting it . On visiting my allocated GP on a mission to procure an allergy test I was told i needed to know what I was allergic too before a targeted test could take place ! Useful ? Fuck it I have an idea what to avoid so shall go my own way on this...

The Duke of Wellingtons

Entering an annoying phase when the lack of mundane objects is increasing my work . I have been waiting weeks for my new SEAL wellingtons . How can something become such an ordeal . Shop assistants tap on computer key boards looking like death while telling me they are on back order . Are they hunting a bloody seal to manufacture them from ? And why cant they have sizes like 10 or 11 ? Nope its 52 , 54 ect . No wonder i get confused ! Secondly am i getting old ? The stuff some people put on fb . Im not the latest generation but surely there is a line ? Not my problem , though it does give me a laugh . Having fun on the old social network at the moment . I swing from hate to love about it often . At the moment i love it... .
