Lie , lie ,lie.......

I have just returned from a third attempt to post some car repair paint the size of a lipstick bottle . Twice before Ive been told it was flammable after being asked what was in the parcel i was posting . Today they drove me to lie . I sarcastically said i was posting a pencil case . Yeah i know that's a bit unlikely but it was the least flammable , innocent item i could think off . I got my just desserts though as it coast $3 to post and i sold it for $4 so i will make nothing accept lowering my self to dishonesty . If a post van fires up then i will feel so guilty . NOT !
 To add insult to injury my paypal has been frozen till this silly 4 pound item is recieved . I wish i'd binned it ...

Women . You have it tough . Yes you are beautiful to the point of driving us men / media /advertising to destruction but your looks are so important they over ride how people perceive you at first impression . On a positive note some women will wield this power all their lives getting what they want , on a negative anything you achieve will be overshadowed .

He was talking about geography but they couldn't resit suggesting he was been arrogant . Fucking pathetic.....

Sat on my sofa .The rain outside is heavy . The sound of rain on a summers night is deeper than in winter . It has its own sound , heavy thundery showers . It feels just like last year at this time and I bet if I look back on my posts this would be proved . The same sequence of events is playing out like a routine  I must go through . I reckonize the people playing their parts . Again soon things will go my way , but what was gained by loosing them for a while ? Why ? Loss and regaining are a pattern . It must be needed in the way life works . Ho;ding your nerve is the answer and that gets harder with time.....

Some on facebook are as ghosts i swear . You rarely see an update on their wall . They rarely comment on your status but you know they've been around by little signs you pick up on other peoples walls or the tagged photo's people have uploaded of them that they cant stop . Seasoned is what i may call them or understated.

Too chilled out ?

Yesterday I spent an afternoon at a VW car show . Those of you who know my view on VAG group cars may well be smirking by know . It was different to say the least . The ultra-low airbag suspension and wide wheels are traditional on the VW modified scene , but what took me by suprise was the atomosphere at the show . So laid back it was almost depressing . Endless reggea music boomed out giving a relaxed aura but this soon became overwhelming and irrattaing . It must be a VW hippy type thing . I aint that laid back !!!  Come to think of it no German cars have ever excited me enough to part me from my money . They have no soul . VW drivers have no soul . Whats the point of having build quality and no character to a car ? Well I guess it panders to the people who own them .
  There is always an exception to the rule and thats the  VW Corrado  . Fast , well made and decent looking . I still want one......

Today young people have a ball to celebrate leaving Primary school , a ball to celebrate leaving Secondary school . Will they have a getting a  first job ball ?  Will they fuck !!! LOL

A change in Dent

There is a change of person moving into our village recently . No longer are they retired ex government employees such as teachers , no a slightly younger equally as prosperous couples with children are  now buying houses . Some are waiting to retire in the future into them , some go the whole hog and move right in . God help them though ... an interesting family life awaits them . None will last long . Harsh but true . To live in Dent permanently one needs to be bloody minded or just give up in complete apathy . Its the only way to beat the exposure to its rhythms .
  Visitors cars are also becoming more up market . Prestige marques are now far more common , this is a recent change . Where were they going before ?  Abroad probably ....

Pillock patrol

Here's something that's really bugging me !   On a drive to our local town there has appeared two Mercedes parked together both with the reg 666   . If this is just a  coincidence then that's amazing , but if  they belong to the same household then again its equally bizarre . If its a joke then having two cars with 666 is a bit overkill . If the owner is a genuine Satanist then he is not gonna be flippant by having two 666 registrations , in fact I doubt he would be silly enough to do this at all . My conclusion is they are both  owned by pillocks ! Do they belong to the same household ? Probably....

Only in the countryside

Only in the countryside can you hear gunshots over breakfast nearby and not worry because you know who it is . You grew up with them and you trust them . You still feel 100% safe . Strange the benefits of growing up in a small village....

Grumpy ?

My gums hurt , ive hay fever , im too hot in this heat wave , i need a hair cut , and my wifes fiesta deisel will not start after a fuel filter change . Pissed off and grumpy....oh and a constantly crying Evie is not helping at all !

Let the blood flow ?

The Egyptian democraticaly elected government has been removed by the military in a coup . Wow that was fast . Faster than removing a dictator even . Surely this is a failure for democracy ? Well no its just been turbo charged . Can you imagine the army ousting leaders hear so quick ? No , it would keep them on thier toes though .
  Blood was shed during the original revo;ution , blood is shed removing the government that got its power fairly through votes ....  Bloodshed is the common denominator that proceeds civilised change . Our leaders know this . AFGANISTAN is a prime example . Blood shed then lets talk !!!!  444 dead but come on chaps maybe we need a chat .! Talk cant come first , bloodshed brings talking the  kudos they so desperately need before both sides can reach a compromise with their pride still intact .

Having spent a few days listening to Radio 5 I have come to the conclusion its a pointless station to tune in to . Politically correct presenters interview politically correct , media trained spokes people trying desperately to trick them into dropping a verbal clanger    . They fail miserably and all that occurs is a mealy mouthed soulless exchange of media speak gob shite . The worst thing is this is passed off as entertainment.....
