I enjoyed watching this old Hammer film during Christmas . I don't want to think how many years have passed since I last saw it on T.V ! The best twist for me in the plot is the fact that the Countess who murders in the name of capturing eternal youth , only becomes youthful temporally . When the effects wear off she ages even more , hence she is eternally trapped in a cycle of murder she can not break . An all to believable nightmare .Yes , Hammer did use the best glammer models of the day apparently . Can you imagine that happening today ? I suppose we see pop stars making appearances in horror films instead nowadays . And as for which twin is good or evil , I frankly don't care ! But there again I am a man....
