I like this quirky Hammer film for reasons I dont fully understand. The costumes are truly awful, the lines cheesy, but the actually horror tales are surprisingly good ! O.K its all tongue in cheek and not meant to be taken seriously. Somehow it all adds up to good fun. Again on paper its sounds truly dire!

    I wanted to marry the Shadmock in this movie; I thought the woman who rejected him was utterly stupid and out of her mind for doing so. He was so nice! And he wasn't that ugly either. And he had the most wonderful home and antique collection.
