lol. Not really. The day will soon be over with and people can pretend that everything is business like usual. Special moments, feelings, and experiences are always scheduled for particular times; I guess humanity lacks imagination, or empathy...or both. There is still New Year's though, but that is focused more on drinking and rowdiness, which is more common in every day life, but this time it's "special" because it's a once a year thing, the "New Year." Yes! I am so excited already.
I find a certain tension lifts after Christmas Day. I welcome the brighter days of January too, even if it is a bit colder. There is nothing like a January gale blasting through the tree tops to lift my mood. Also a few strange happenings usually make an annual appearance, but thats a post for my other blog !
