Its true. Ministers and Vicars are career orientaded nowadays. They dont go where they feel a calling, well they do but its suspiciously an urban calling, close to a good school for the kids and part time work for the wife. No one wants to come to a rural northern district anymore and even if they do it is for a short interim time. Like most things the soul has rotted out of over time.

My four year old is always watching things on you-tube. At first I thought they were mainly episodes of her favourite TV shows, but no, most are home made films that have been made using plastic toys. All the films look quite well polished in their presentation, and the narrators all have a certain twang or accent to their voices. These films are new phenomena online and are not something that my generation ever got the chance to watch. It must take people hours to make them though. Some films have over 8 million hits ! Is this true fame ? And exactly who is making all these offerings ?
