The terrible dog walkers of Dent.
Their arms and their legs not yet bent.
Heads bowed in the rain.
They hide their distain.
Those terrible dog walkers of Dent....

Boris Johnson praises Peppa Pig in bizarre CBI speech

He's right of course. Peppa Pig is genius ! But the point here is that Boris does not, and has not for a long while looked well at all. Something is seriously wrong here. I also heard that Biden is suspected to have dementia. What on earth is the way ahead here ? A facist Europe, USA torn in two and Britain somewhere in between. It all seems dream like. Is it a dream ?

Monday, November 22

Seriously ? No body sees anything bizarre about this ?

The talk talk Big Black Friday promotion ?!

I remember when this was just a conspiracy theory...

One of the most annoying things about being online is the way that devices including phones listen to your conversations. I presume this is happening all the time as Ive lost count of the number of times that I have had a discussion in this house and an very relevant advert will arrive on FaceBook or YouTube, usually very promptly. My sisters partner works for Asda online security and he says that that this occurs because our data is sold by phone companies ect. He added that conversations within earshot of a device also seem to qualify as worthy of snooping. Interestingly he does not use FaceBook as he says they are the biggest offenders. In fact he cant be found on any online social platforms as he says all trouble comes from them.

I think this snooping is awful and no one bats an eye at it ! In the privacy of your own home you have an eaves dropper that will log key words, usually for commercial purposes, but no doubt for certain it is being used for much darker reasons. Its not good enough just being cautious about what you post if merely having a verbal conversation in private is potentially going to put you on a " naughty list ". I have no specific proof, buts its more likely than not I'd say. As I said, commercially we are being " harvested " for sure.

Finally just for laughs, here is the most ridiculous but also the most striking example that our devices are listening to us without our consent. Last summer I had a conversation about " belly buttons " with my daughter. About 10 minutes later and without doing any online searching about the subject a FaceBook post popped up... 10 Things you never knew about belly buttons ! Unbelievable.

Another darker example has just occurred to me. I was sat in the kitchen watching a news item about the NHS selling your medical data to commercial companies. I was complaining about this verbally to two other family members when both their phones pinged at exactly the same second and what text had they both simultaneously  received ?  How to opt out of NHS data collection ! Not only had the conversation being logged, the fact that two phones were in the room was also linked to the process. It was so blatant to. No attempt to delay or stagger the texts. And again no one seems bothered.

Im also tired of YouTube profiling me. Im getting more and more films appearing about mental health. Do you ever wonder what picture they have of you ? And how distorted it is ? And who is this being shared with ? One day you will find its all going to start costing you financially I betting.

It maybe too late...

We have Capitalist governments with Socialist policies that are now showing Fascist intentions. George Orwell wrote about how intellectual Socialists often lost faith and swung to Fascism, but I doubt very much that he could have envisaged Capitalist governments stealing Socialist ideas.

So how did these Fascist intentions occur ?  They occurred when the population took the vax. It was a mandate for Fascism. What a clever trick ? And why does spell checker automatically think I want to spell " racism " Not every god damn thing is about racism....

Not a mask in sight !

Ive just returned from town and there is the annual walking, mountaineering, hiking type festival taking place. Ive never seen so many ribbed jackets in one place. ..lol What really struck me though was the fact I must have seen 100 visitors walking in the high street and not one single person was wearing a mask. Thats interesting  as it shows that certain type of outdoorsy person is not feeling worried as opposed to local people.

Isnt it funny also how you can tell a visitor to an area from a local ? Maybe its their clothes or the way they walk ? Maybe we all give off that more animated look when we are out of our area ? Anyway the face of the town was changed today, though only for a day. One thing that will remain the same however is those ribbed jackets that are  also popular with locals in the  Olde Greye Towne...and the Volkswagon Transporter mini vans as Americans call them. They are a " lifestyle accessory " That goes without saying.

Great phone cover...

How BBC is this ?

Im currently watching the lunch time BBC News telling me about a story reporting on a a shortage of Walkers ready salted crisps, and the good old BBC has found the parent of a 4 year old who has an eating disorder, and the child will only eat ready salted crisps. Oh, dear. There is now a conversation going on exploring the options the mother faces as this is of national importance ? A trip to the NHS might be in the mix too. So you are welcome to count the BBC boxes that have been ticked here, but at no point does anyone question the fact a 4 year old is living on this surely deathly diet, and why is a 4 year old allowed to live on this diet ?

Repent !

I swear they move to this valley to do penance, They walk their dogs in the pissing, freezing rain with straight backs and bowed heads. They walk and walk and walk and walk and walk and walk and walk and walk and then walk some more. If they really want to punish the body they run in skin tight lycra, at night, with a head torch...

A short angry post

Today I found out that relatives of mine whose mother is gravely ill in hospital have to book appointments well in advance to see her. Visitor groups are limited and thus anyone person has wait a week between visits approx due to  her large family. Why this inhumane stance ?  Covid regulations of course. Its even worse in another nearby hospital where you cannot visit at all !

So in a life and death situation silly petty rules hinder a person in visiting a parent or loved one who could be rapidly running out of time. It makes my blood boil even though my family are lucky enough not to be in that situation and if god forbid  If I was suddenly in that situation...well its enough to break someone. The bloody NHS. Not the heros we are led to believe all the time. People wont be banging pots and pans and cheering in the streets if they find the NHS torturing them this way in their hour of need. Yet nothing is said on the news at all. Not a thing.

Its most likely sill bureaucracy, but it just looks like they have something to hide, maybe. Time will tell, but it seems very odd.

Whats Going On - 4 Non Blondes lyrics

O.K Im confused now. I heard this song this morning on the radio and for years I thought it was sung by Cher. It sounds like Cher, but YouTube shows up nothing under her name for this song. Anyway what really struck me this morning was the fact that what on earth happens to you if you want to revolt against the " revolution " ?

There is a revolution going on now. Its all those subjects that make us rant and what the everyday person tells you to your face they think is rubbish. The news is a tidal wave of opinion thats religiously now viewed as default facts that no one should even challenge. The news used to debate stories. In fact I once posted how they started  a news report stating a fact and then tore it apart until you werent sure it was a fact at all.

They dont even challenge their own stories or reports anymore. Gone is all counter balance. They have thrown in the towel. Now thats a big change. Its scary. So all these " woke " ideas are throughout all media and are at fever pitch here in the UK, but ask anyone over 30 and they will tell you its utter " rubbish " or " I never watch the news ". I just cant see how these two realities exist alongside each other and  " never the twain shall meet as they say".

I havent felt so good recently and you know what ? Its no wonder. The stress ive been put under by the intense fear and brain washing of the past 18 months is no small matter. Add to the fact I have abstained from bowing down, which has left me feeling isolated, and I have not given in to the cure all cure that most have found false comfort in.

I think there are also much deeper spin offs of having not conformed as in you are now in a different reality to those who have in a quantum physics kind of way. Society's future has changed on mass the day they bowed down but for the minority, they are trying to continue in the old way ahead and I think that is the source of our discomfort. I may have hit the nail on the head here. Time will tell. There is no way out of that either... Ive strayed into Goldens territory now so I shall shut up.

Pssst ! No one mention the vac....

Tuesday, November 9

I found this sign on holiday. At first I thought the human was a dog from a distance. Well humans are treating dogs as being human so maybe humans are becoming more dog like ? The real reason though is that public toilets have been closed in remote places and visitor numbers have soared due to international travel restrictions. Beaches in Scotland and laybys are being blocked off with large boulders to prevent people camping or parking up. I can see the day when its just impossible to visit anywhere that is not a designated tourist trap with a visitor centre.

Its a common mis-conception that when in the countryside no one is watching you, even on holiday in a remote place. In Wales I stopped at a small river and went for a quick fish with my daughter. I saw no " private fishing signs " but said to her that in 10 minutes someone will arrive asking if we have permission and surely enough...You cannot switch off for a moment nowadays. Park up and some one will arrive asking questions. It never used to be that way. Everything is regulated and being watched by some busy body. I swear there are designated watchers who do nothing else but snoop on others, the sort of people who checked car number plates of parked cars during lockdown to see if they were local and then reported those to the police that were not registered as " local "

Is this ectoplasm ?

The last version of this photo I posted had a filter. This original one hadnt. Again if you look to the far left just below half way down you can see a white cloud type billowing along obscuring a tree trunk and settling in a hollow below. If you view this on a lap top and zoom in then its very clear this is something very strange. What is this wandering substance ?

When I posted my mistake about the leaf ( someone commented on my fb that it looked like a duck ) I knew and have always suspected there was something over there. When I try do something meaningful in the yard a gusty annoying wind gets up. Other people have noticed this annoying trait to as it happens and passes by so quickly and obviously.

Im now wondering what else I may capture on film. Well at least my new neighbour isnt around at the moment !

Scorpions - Crazy World

Fun fact - there is not a duff track on this album  !  Well, maybe Im sick of hearing Wind of Change and thats because it was played to death back in the day, but its not a bad song  even for that. There is an energy to this album that I find connected to autumn. A rawness. Actually in the same vein is Skid Rows Sub Human Race album. Again, not a duff track on that one either, and again just sounds so good as the harsh weather and dark nights close in.

More  metal albums without a duff track ( and there arent as many as you first imagine ) are Iron Maidens Killers album and  Ive been listening to that for nearly 40 years. That sounds insane but it came out in 1980, so...Guns n Roses Appetite for Destruction has no duff tracks either . Its not natural for a CD to be 100% pleasing with no " filler " tracks. It may be most common in a bands early albums ? Oh, and Metallicas ( just typed Meatallica lol ) Ride the Lightening is another. Yep, early albums seem the best.

Oh, joy !

For £3 a week we get a random basket from Asda containing very random food that is about to be thrown out. Todays delivery contained this lovely 3kg of mince meat. Talk about heart burn...Actually the best before date is 09 April 22 so whats going on ?

Wednesday, October 27

Could be coincidence but...

Now my Sister is ill. Vertigo, dizziness and nausea, neck muscle pains.

Cousin ill. Exhaustion, nausea, headaches cannot work more than 3 days a week

Neighbour develops flu which mutates into then serious a lung virus.

All these people were healthy before the vaccination. These are " temporary " side affects of vaccination that are not temporary. They are serious and debilitating. No one will admit this is strange. The news will never ask questions and why would they when the general public stick their heads in the sand ?

I remember that hot day as I stood  reluctantly awaiting my vaccination. My overwhelming emotion of panic was well founded after reading the long list of " temporary side effects " Im glad I had the courage to walk out at the last second to the dismay of the staff. Rushing into an action in a state of fear and panic rarely ends well. Oh, and all these people are in their 40's with no underlying health conditions. I fear this picture will get worse over winter and then be swept under the carpet.

Ye Olde Grey Towne

Yes, Google The Olde Grey Towne of Kendal in Cumbria and you will no doubt be impressed by such phrases as " gateway to the lakes " and " historic market town " and once it was solely these things and more, but today that has become a disingenuous  description because just beneath the surface lurks a growing drugs problem, and this spring a truly horrific event happened. One that never made the papers or tv news strangely.

On You Tube there appeared a video of a young man who had been kidnapped and tortured in a manner I cannot print here. He lost an eye and suffered a sexual mutilation. Five people were responsible for this and they appeared in the video, many laughing at what they were doing. Eventually the youngest let the guy go out of pity after several days, where he stumbled out into a shop car park in the town. This was in a central location outside a Sports Direct store and amongst some other residential flats, but nobody knew what was happening right under their noses and thats what disturbs me so much about this.

I never saw the video but loads of children watched it before it was removed, and it was shared many times.  What effect  that has had on their mental health I wouldnt like to say. How modern that even this disgusting attack was deemed worthy of a You Tube post. It was seen as merely entertainment.A friend however reminded me that this attack was not unique to the town and that in the 80's a similar event took place were a man was kidnapped and tortured in a wood before being thrown from a cliff to his death.

The trouble is the town  is a town of two halves. One half is retired  (or soon to be ) middle class outdoorsy types,  driving V W Transporters and hiking and the other half are drug fuelled nut case users and dealers, and never the twain shall meet as they say. The council has shipped in ( and been paid to house criminals ) and people from distant urban areas and stuck them all on a few newly built of course sink housing estates which are now just breeding grounds. I remember what the town was like before this happened. Before the drugs. Before the apathy. Before the Police entering the Mc Donalds toilets never even caused anyone to bat an eye lid. Kids on drugs has become the mainstream, even here.

Its not Christmas yet is it ?!

If someone had told me it was a full moon yesterday I would have believed them...Its started with a bull knocking down a wall and getting into a field of someone elses cows. Next a courier came flying into the yard in a van and ran over a 20 litre drum of oil puncturing it and spreading it over 15 meters of the yard. My wife then came home and  told me she had bashed her car door at work on a gate stoop ( and that was after hitting a sheep at 40mph last week denting her bonnet and smashing her bumper which had just been replaced  a month before from a previous accident ) Later on that night she found a long craft knife blade that had  somehow dropped into my daughters trainer. I finally slammed the fridge door in a bad mood and several jars fell out and smashed. One contained beetroot. Went to bed in a bad mood.

This is worrying

So I think I already mentioned that I have a cousin who has had 2 jabs. Soon afterwards he contracted Lymnes disease after a tick bite, and then caught Covid briefly. By his own admission he admits he has not being 100% since his injections. Now he's having trouble working more than 2 days at a time due nausea, dizziness and head aches. His woes all began after the vaccine.

Today I heard of a neighbour whose partner also 40 and has had 2 jabs, has gone on catch on to flu. The flu has then developed into a lung virus called Pleurisy and she is now having difficulty breathing.  This is worrying. I dont know many people at all and the fact that two previously healthy people who have had the jab before starting an ill health chain reaction is disturbing. No doubt the media has no interest in these events. I wonder what it would take to make them look up.

I wonder who else will go on to start health woes ? Of course everyone who has had the jab says how when they caught Covid they were so glad they had the jab as it " would have been so much worse without it " Are you quite sure ?

My daughters school only has 30 pupils and 10 have had the positive virus test. A few people have caught it off their children, but none seriously. When I talk about this subject my money is where my mouth is. This is not a far away problem but one that right on my doorstep so if Im wrong in my views then I might pay a high price, but I never saw anyone get seriously ill even before the vaccination drive. Still fear is a strong emotion and some days even I wonder about my choices. There again what Im seeing in others I know well vindicates my suspicions. Time will tell.

Can you level up ? lol

My daughter caught a nice sized trout this morning. Its about 3/4 lb. Its a melancholy feeling watching her fish the pools I grew up with. The big difference is I can guide her but I had no one to teach me at her age so I am self taught.

Tuesday, October 5

I was recently added by the partner of a presumingly ( is this even a real word ? )  deceased fb friend whom I regularly communicated with. I decided to send a simple message asking her if my assumption was correct. The she read the message, but no reply has come. Im not asserting the above post to this person but as a general frustration I aim at people who add me but never converse. Its weird. I mean adding your partners friends to your page seems a little odd as its been nearly 12 months since ive talked with this man. Whats the score here ?

Another oddity with my page is that only one person seems to add likes in any number and when another starts the original person stops dead. Its as though fb is limiting the number of people who see my posts. That wouldn't surprise me at all.

Thursday, September 30

Suits you, sir ?

Here is a photo of me wearing an odd random hat I found in Asda for a joke. Then I realised that I once wrote how I would like to see top hats for men make a return. Imagine the fun ? If this was the case I would have to insist women returned to wearing corsets. In fact it wouldnt surprise me in the least if that happened in the next 12 months as history repeats itself. I cant see top hats for everyday wear being that practical though, especially in high winter winds. How did they keep them on in those days ?

Aspiration

What does modern man aspire to in 2021 ?

Why a small yappy dog, a beard and a mini van.

How times change.

Friday, September 24

It was back in 2011 when I first started my blogs and I guess it was all about releasing a pent up stress. Yes, I followed my heart back then and this triggered a seismic change for my life. Those days were crazy and full of passion which eventually spawned The Golden Blog. Blogging definitely kept me " sane " or rather channelled a little energy into a alternative situation. If I had posted the above picture to my other blog then I would be waxing lyrical about all sorts, but this post is more about the down to earth aspects of blogging.

Reading anothers blog definitely got me through a rough time. The Sleep of Reason was a daily grounding for me. It was a space to admit that some people are different and are not all people are " pedestrian ". It was a breath of fresh air when I needed it.

Its the eternal mystery. Why do so few people comment ? Another mystery is Blogger stats. How can a post get several hundred views and no one or only one  person comments ? I dont believe that many people have read it. I get weird rhythmical spikes of page views sometimes of 50 every 2 days. I dont know. These big figures seem to occur on my other blog though and this ones existence is running on nostalgia for past times. Do you ever look back at all your old posts ? Every now and again I smile as I read my old writing and Im taken right back to those crazy days. Did I do some ranting on here or what ? lol

Drone footage of queues at a petrol station as motorists told not to pan...

Britain is grinding to a halt. Lack of delivery drivers and tightened immigration rules after Brexit are now taking there toll on every industry from building to cafes. Funnily it hasnt affected illegal immigration which is now seeing record numbers of up to 900 people a day crossing the channel to the UK from France. I would normally say that panic buying is dumb, but when there simply isnt enough fuel being delivered then what else are people to do ?

This country is crumbling and every damn stupid policy decision that ive ranted about is now coming to fruition. All the stupidity, all the knee jerk dumb lazy attitudes are finally manifesting in the economy and its not pretty. I have a feeling its going to be chaotic winter. But people are already scared of winter. I think they associate winter with lock down and life been put acceptably on hold. I think they want to mentally give up during winter and live life to the full in summer. A kind of seasonal disorder which I can relate to ...and maybe Im projecting here ?

One good thing about living in the countryside is that the low population means the petrol at small stations lasts longer, however in a large
town deliveries are daily so any increase in demand by say panic buying very quickly creates a problem. Seeing lots of "out of order " signs on pumps is worrying, but this problem is just the tip of the iceberg. I remember the ridiculous situation last year when we were told that no one could visit your house on Christmas day after being told a week before it would be OK. We live in an age when anything at all can be cancelled out of existence at any moment. Thats modern Britain.

Get Away! (the Little Pest Remix)

Today didnt go to plan. While trying to get some lambs out of a hedge that ran along a riverside I somehow disturbed a nest wasps. I ended up being stung 4 times on the face and once on each hand while trying to run along a river bed and back to the quad bike id left 400 meters away. Even once i'd raced away they were still all over my beanie type hat which must have saved me from several potentially painful head stings. Wasps seem to be thriving in this dry weather. It is in fact so dry you can pick up rotten wood from the ground and light a fire as in those American style survival tv shows. Grass has died under the hedge rows to. Ive never seen it so dry in September and there is no sign of rain yet. Maybe I just should have stood still ?

6 million ways to die - choose one ?

I came across this today on a Pubs premises. At first I thought it must be a joke, but no. Speechless.

Tuesday, September 7

Yes, No..Yes !

As we only have a 3 month Summer here in the UK then I have mixed feelings about the above attitude but when the moment for a change of season comes Im all ready to embrace it. My work is dominated by this so I must embrace it, hence maybe Im constantly planning ahead and never really savouring the moment ? The darker nights have a charm I guess and that excites a part of me, for while anyway.

04 - Gigi D'Agostino - Souvenir (by DJ VF)

The latest CD ive bought. I remember buying Techno fes 1 twelve years ago and a pounding heady unusual mix it was to. Im pleased to say that this 2nd Techno fes CD is just as good with its stonking bass and odd and sometimes sophisticated sounding vocals. Gigi da'gostino's music really moves me. How much it moves me maybe a subject for my other blog. Im at a stage once again where I sit still and listen to music on a proper hifi shaking the old oak floor boards much to the annoyance of others.

I need rehabilitation ?

Its the most stunning sunny Sunday September afternoon but Im too angry and frustrated to go anywhere. I have just tried to complete a Speed Awareness course via Zoom or rather more accurately " The National Driving Offenders Rehabilitation Course " because after all driving at 72 mph in a 60 zone is such a heinous crime. Now I knew me in a Zoom meeting would be fraught with problems as this is well out side my comfort zone. But when I was thrown out after 60 seconds and asked to leave even I was shell shocked.

What was the reason then ? Loosing my temper ? Lack of technical skill on the call..lol  No ! My wife popped her head around the door of the room I was in just to see if I had logged on to the course without any hiccups and this I was immediately and curtly informed was a and I quote " A breach of confidentiality " and that was enough to see me fail, just that alone.

This just fulfilled my suspicion that the course was bullshit even though the goal of completing would have seen me avoiding the the three penalty points. So now I have the £80 I paid for the course and another £45 for failing the course and £100 for now receiving the penalty points.

I knew things wouldn't go well when I saw the woman conducting the Zoom meeting. She had the look of a battle axe. Off course its just more modern bullshit. I have less and less respect for much stuff nowadays. You are criminalised and then given the chance to redeem yourself only to have the goal posts moved. It doesn't help if you work or have money though as people with true crime records or drug convictions always get the slack we decent people deserve. Its all about the money. If you are going to incur costs in prosecution that you cannot pay then a  "course  " is offered to you and I bet no one is thrown off that for their wife putting her head around a door way. If you have money the its Fuck You ! Break bail conditions, commit assault or theft, no problem. Ive seen it happen....

Finally...

This week I finally with some help from my cousin erected my flat pack car shelter. I wouldn't quite say it was an " instant " garage as the label said because I took one look inside the packaging in March and just gave up to be honest. Ive never seen so many pipes and pieces and upon reading the instructions I just couldn't muster up the enthusiasm during lockdown. Anyway as Autumn is nearly in the air and the unseasonably good Summer weather is waning now it was time to get it up. After a Summer of birds mucking on my cars and dropping small stones out of an over hanging tree top I finally have a solution. Cant wait for those wet Winter nights when I can tinker around. I just need some lighting now.

Awaking Again

Its strange you know how the small simple things such as shopping for clothes, having a hair cut or buying something pleasurable is so important to being happy. If you dont believe me then you havent had a UK style lockdown where such things have only just become doable since November ! They have killed something inside me, and its hard to work out exactly what but by doing these apparently trivial things this week im starting to feel the beggining of the old me returning. I also have a heady addiction to driving each night to anywhere really. Not surprising I guess when ive been told not to for so long. I can feel the urge now pulling at me. Add to this the fact that spring is getting started and im running on the natural energy thats daily growing. How have I changed ? What have I become while being so dormant ? What will emerge ?

Finally, should I be allowed to wear Nike Air trainers ? My daughter says they are for teenagers only !  lol

Baby Britain

Welcome to baby Britain. Stay at home like a baby dispite movement restrictions having officially ended. Tonight I saw a large road sign lit up saying " Miniminise travel "  People are still sat in thier houses no doubt brain washed by 12 months of frankly brain washing tatics.

Sing a song while you wash your hands like a little baby. Obey the rules like a little baby. Well if youre so feeble minded to have conformed 100% up till now, then more fool me for being surprised I guess ? And as for vaccine passports, well the USA has rejected that idea unlike this baby like country. The UK loves rules. Always has, always will. I feel so strongly about this that I find it hard to write the words, hence this hotch potch post.

Monday, April 5

GET OUT !

So the sun was shining and the weather was warmish... so where were the great British public this Easter holiday weekend ? Restrictions on movement have officially ended, but it seems people just sat at home still. Brain washed Britain. What a sad, sad state were in. Same can be said for Bonfire night. Very few people let off fire works anymore. A stiffling, staid mindet has set in. People openly start justifing the lockdown if you question it. They love it !

Just Say No...lol

Today I recieved a nice polite phone call offering me a Covid vaccination. I turned the offer down and there was no problem at all or pressure. When friends ask why I explain that I find the idea of a rushed vaccine more dangerous than a disease with a 99.5 % non fatality rate. I expect it will be private bisiness owners who will enforce a no vaccine no entry policy though. I might be forced to reconsider but as of now im happy as I am. I also find the idea of a vaccine to be a hoop to jump through to get some freedom back and that makes me very angry. People have started rebelling In London tonight and I cant believe we in the UK have put up with this for a year. And what happened to Brexit and the economic woe that restricted acess to goods would cause ? Oh, the " pandemic " has reduced demand and pumped 400billion into the economy. What great timing, eh ?

Welcome to the UK !

This is actually a bitter sweet watch. Half way between funny and disturbingly familiar.

Depressing and Confusing

Im sat on a gloomy night feeling stressed about cars. Even though ive found a very good internet company who delivers cars to test drive for a week Im begining to think after driving my first 2 choices that what Im looking for deceased years ago. When you drive a BMW and a VW Golf GTI and are disappointed with the handling then where do you go from there ? Premium brands that were once revered as the " ultimate driving machine " or the " greatest hot hatch " are in fact now just distant echoes of what they once were. Oh, they look very nice but its all exterior gloss and image which quickly disappoints once they are driven. When did this decline happen ?

Meanwhile You Tube reviewers satisfy the algorithms and hype up the perceived quality brands. When I think of the hours ive spent watching these people review cars that ive now driven and found to be anything but what they say. I dont think they " rock the boat " with honesty if it contradicts popular opinion. I mean how anyone can call the Golf GTI the greatest all rounder is beyond me. Road noise, poor handling and the classic VW mis-firing engine saw me otherwise disagree. The quality has long gone.

So im going around in circles tonight wondering whether cars really are going to fill a hole in my being anymore. I think a lack of fun to drive midrange models that dont cost £30,000 is the problem here and manufactures who no longer care about a product I think that is now aimed mainly at millennials who know no different. I also believe that modern cars are aimed at people who just want to drive around town. I might go so far as to say they are aimed at women more than men today ? Car adverts certainly push this image. Talking of adverts my daughter noticed that women that appear in them as a rule are all portrayed as dancing... Weird. I dont think anyone feels like dancing in the UK at the moment.

Im going to knock you out !

Nice one neighbor, that escalated quickly...just 5 seconds into a row and threats of violence occur. What was it about ? Why dogs. Its always dogs. Seems dogs fighting on the road has become the equivalent of dogs attacking humans. Dog owners certainly react as though it is so. The same can be said of the Police who rang me next day to warn me that the incident had been recorded as a " dog attack ". I said no one had ever been attacked and since when did dogs briefly fighting matter more than a physical threat of violence ? " Well sir, you have to realize he was very worked up " Oh well then, I shall just let it go then ? After complaining about this his behavior it has been recorded as threatening on Police records, but not by default as you would expect.

The greatest irony as I pointed out to no avail to this dog walker was that he was complaining about the two dogs fighting as he was threatening to " knock me out ". He didnt see my point at all. How quickly people themselves resort to dog like behavior in these incidents. It takes a split second to reduce a human to an animal when humans see dogs as human too. His reaction was as though his dog was a child. Its all becoming disturbingly common and no doubt lockdown stresses are surfacing here to.

Every time I drive past a dog walker I now feel angry and there are a lot of dog walkers here all trudging along like ticking time bombs primed to explode in self righteous aggression. How has the simple act of walking a dog walk so contorted, tense and violent ? Worst of all is that dog owners are totally unaware until that fateful split second occurs. Dogs are not human. Trouble is coming...

All seems to be too good to be true ?

The Golf GTI like the one I'm hoping to test soon

So ive reached the stage when I need a new car. Its been 4 years since i last did that and the memories of all the hassle I had dealing with garages is still fresh in my mind. In fact I dont think i could face it again to be honest. Those short test drives with the hard sell coming afterwards, and little time to really judge the car properly. So with this in mind ive decide to resort to doing the whole thing through an online company. Sounds awful ? Well I get to keep the car for a week to test drive, and if i wish return it free of charge should i not be 100% happy with it. Thats plenty of time to really drive the car on the crappy roads where i live and get a very good feel for it. Im very indecisve when it comes to cars so this is a biggy for me as they say. Also no salesmen are involved only a delivery driver ! Lets see how this goes...

I Bought $13,000 In Wheels For My Civic

I dont expect many people to watch all 20 minutes of this guy test fitting his wheels but just want to say that finding him on You Tube has been an event for me. Obsessed Garage is the correct name alright. This man takes every detail seriously on his cars. He know what he likes and he knows himself. Like me he feels a great excitement when a item is " right " and his quest for this is no doubt unpleasant at times as his confession of suffering from OCD confirms in another film. He has a whole philosophy to washing cars too and one that he carries over into other parts of his life. If we all had the time / money and circumstances to chase perfection what would we create ? So I need a garage, no work, a heap of disposable income and some USA type never ending perfect sunshine...lol I'm also wise enough to know that anything I value gets damaged. Its like a red rag to a bull. Hell sometimes it even was a bull, literally...

Chris Whitty urges people to stay home in new Covid campaign

Very cleverly marketed. Short punchy lines in a bunch of 3.   1, 2, 3 manifestation !  Even if you disagree you dont want to harm the good old NHS do you ? Another one is playing the dirty card that you may harm someone else if you go " out " Hell if I lived like that i'd never go anywhere again. Which brings me to the greatest slogan " Act like youve got it " Utter insanity.
The P.R creator here is or rather was Domonic Cummings. He was caught travelling 300 miles in lockdown from London to a holiday house...

The New Way

Today I went into town to do some " essential " shopping as the new lockdown rules allow. I then went a walk around Kendal castle with my daughter as is allowed. Its all about the mindset and not giving into the fear they pump out. In my head Im free and thats the goal here. Do not become a slave to their thinking and keep things in proportion and push the rules. Its the only way. Life must go on.

As likely as a snow ball in hell

Today I had a revelation. A Conservative government would never put the economy at risk to help the vulnerable. It simply is not in their political DNA. Social care was never a priority for them and the economy for them was a god to fall down before. Spend an extra £400 billion to protect the old ? Simply just doesnt add up. Add to this fact the Labour party lost the last election due to outrageous spending plans that have now being equaled by the winning Conservatives and it all looks a bit pre-planned. A huge cash injection was and is deemed necessary for some reason...
