In a sea of woke adverts Fairy certainly stand out from the crowd. Its white. Its VERY white in more ways than one. Its a serious taboo now for any advert to show a woman doing house work. More often than not its portrayed as a man job, and if possible a black man with a nice big white fluffy dog ( because you like dogs ) - seriously !
As for showing a woman being motherly thats a definite act of rebellion. She is shown as a role model. Yes, Fairy really have rebelled against modern trends in advertising. This advert often makes me smile. It seems like a portal into a past age.
Why is her accent so...different? I can't quite place it. And what do they mean by "non bio?" It's such a weird word.
