I have invested in an expensive " soft closing " toilet seat. It cost me 40 pounds ( there maybe pictures ) Its a lot for a toilet seat, but when I sit on it without flexing , and then watch the lid sink slowly closed so quietly, I then see that its all been worth while ( no, Im not joking ) Exactly what this strange purchase symbolises I have no idea.Im in the mood for buying quality things as replacements for out going items such as Jeans, Spanners, Coats ect. My biggest cost this Spring will be paying for my 8 x 12 ft shed. This will arrive in March. I shall place my new tools in it. There comes a time for renewal every so often. Good clothes become work clothes for example. In fact Marks & Spencers have some ranges of clothes that actually fit me so well that people have complimented me on how good they are. Now thats a real shock ! Time for some multiple purchases while these clothes are in stock, because one day they will be gone forever. I know this because if they fit me then they will be unpopular, and wont sell. Its always the way.
