No, I never learn . Buying a part worn tyre on ebay for £35 as opposed to £125 new, seemed at the time like a good idea . On delivery I removed the address label only to find this hole in the tread . Its not punctured , but its as near to it as makes a difference . If it had been fixed with a plug then I wouldn't be complaining for that price . The fact someone covered this up just annoys me . Back it goes then ( assuming postage rates are acceptable... ) Next however things went from bad to worse as while changing the wheel on my Focus I see the starting of some serious rusting on the sills . This is a death knell for old Fords... : (
