Whoops, Apocalypse !

It seems I have started a storm ( well by my standards ) on a local fb site that is dedicated to moans about a local town. This town is classed as the 7th most desirable place in Britain to live, but it is now in decline. I posted a list of 10 reasons why another nearby town ( ranked the 4th worst place to live in Britain ) had in my view better facilities and services for the visitor or shopper. This town has a history of decay, BUT is on the UP. The nice town is on its way DOWN.
People just cannot see past the stereotypes of the past. The changing of the guard as they say is happening, but they are entrenched in the past. I have received a lot of stick on line and I think it will get worse. Some however do see just a glimpse of where Im coming from. One of my strong points is seeing things before they happen, and my views are often ahead of their time. Sometimes too far ahead for some people.

I Need More Vegetables In My Life

No, this is not an attempt to pander to my audience. Its actually official advice as given by my Doctor, after a blood test revealed I apparentlty have a Folic Acid deficiency. I guess that's what all my recent muscle pain has been caused by. I eat plenty of vegetables already, as my brussel sprout antics have revealed in the past on this blog. I guess therefore I am going to have to resort to the pills Ive been prescribed. My digestive tract obviously has problems absorbing this essential acid for some unknown reason. Its all quite a surprise to me.

Monster Club (1980) - trailer

I like this quirky Hammer film for reasons I dont fully understand. The costumes are truly awful, the lines cheesy, but the actually horror tales are surprisingly good ! O.K its all tongue in cheek and not meant to be taken seriously. Somehow it all adds up to good fun. Again on paper its sounds truly dire!

Cross Dressers, Football and the B.B C Mafia.

Is a drama about a cross dressing teenage boy really a suitable T.V program for 8pm on Boxing Day  ?!  Well it seems the B.B.C thinks so. Well we are in " modern times ". Truth be told it was not too lurid, but it was not something I think many parents would like to be explaining to their children at any time. Oh, and we licence payers help funded it !
Personally Im not prejudiced about any sexuality or deviation. Today nobody gives a damn. People have bigger concerns today. But I do think the timing of this dramas airing was affected by that all too apparent left wing bias mafia that lives somewhere in the B.B.C. No doubt these leftys are also responsible for the portrayal of disabled and minority's as the majority norm on the children's C.B.B.C channel. I must say that recently they have redressed this silly situation of positive discrimination some what. I mean it was just becoming a joke.
So what riled me so much then ? Well for a drama about such a politically correct theme there was every stereotype possible portrayed, and often with a straight face, here goes...

The " butch " wagon driving Father who at first disowns his Son (he's ignorant you see )

The overly and suspiciously caring Asian woman next door  ( she just wants to help )

The straight laced uptight white middle age, middle class Headmaster ( made to look pompous )

The overly nice and caring black girl who lends him a dress ( she has such style )

There were probably other stereotypes too, but I only caught short snatches of this drivel. Hey, guess what ? Sport saved the day ! Turns out the boy is rather good at football, even when in a dress, so that's O.K, he must be accepted. Actually I can see some bigoted people actually being swayed by this, and that is even more worrying than their discrimination ! lol
If an adult was cross dressing I would say live and let live. If a boy was cross dressing Id suggest he see a doctor (unless he is good at football )  Don't worry I speak in jest...

Unbelievable ?

If you think you had a less than ideal Christmas Day, then spare a thought for the employee's of the parcel courier company CITY LINK, or should that be SH1TTY LINK ?

At 4pm Christmas afternoon, their employee's received the news that the company had gone bust. Who was responsible for the timing of this announcement ? Was it automated ? Was someone trying to " bury " the news and avoid having to face reporters questions ?  ( the average person wont care less by boxing day ) Who knows, there cannot be a good explanation either way.

DODGE RAM CUMMINS VS LANDROVER DEFFENDER 90

Many Farmers are now using Pick-Up trucks, but when it comes to shear grunt and the necessary grip for towing heavy loads they are simply weak and not up to the job, in fact they make great cars, but that's about it. A Landrover will never be beat by any job, ever, even if they are not up to modern refinement standards.

In My World

I have put on half a stone from eating Galaxy chocolate

My goal is an afternoon sleep this week

The wind sounds like its going to blow my house roof off

Ive had too hot a bath

My next book to read is by my bed ; Mary Shelly's Frankenstein

( I made a New Years resolution to read the " Classics " a couple of years ago, but it turned into the occult classics somehow... maybe its time to get back on course ? )

And here we go...

Tonight I'm ringing our water supply company to ask why they are demanding £250 three days before Christmas. I shall pay in Jan when I get paid again. Also I have an Electric bill of the same amount that is expected to be paid now. Bloody morons ! Rant no doubt to post later .

Thursday, December 18

Its really quite simple

Why are our hospital accident and emergency sections overwhelmed ?

Because our local Doctors and hospital Consultants don't work weekends. Surely some cover could be arranged with alternation  ? Only when you need a surgeon at a weekend do you really see the insanity of this situation !

Excellent Products With Faces - PART 1

In my extensive experience of household products ( sarcasm ) anything that has had a face incorporated into its design is surely a sign of its excellence. Strange but true...

Wednesday, December 17

Today energy experts announced that electric consumption has fallen for the first time in the U.K for years. Apparently they say this is down to Government efficiency regulations and the ever increasing efficiency of modern household appliances ? !

So its nothing to do with the average annual family electric bill reaching £ 1400 then ?  Or the fact this Government has thousands of generators on paid stand by in case Christmas energy consumption can not be met due to our ageing and failing nuclear power stations ?   ( Europe told us to close our coal powered ones. Damned environmentalists ) Of course not...

Only at this late hour

Today Ive been cleaning out my shed.  WAKE UP !!!   And I happened to come across an old Building Society savings book that I used to have. In this book was a record of my savings and withdrawls from the time when I left school at 16 ,until about 10 years ago. Mmmm I had money when I lived at home, real money ! My biggest regret is that I DIDNT discover credit or loans sooner. If you take out a loan then your savings remain intact. Replacing them after buying an item such as a car never happens. If I had used credit I would still be well off today. Yes, credit is GOOD !!!  Anyway, no use crying over spilt milk as they say... Oh, and savings interest was 7 % back then from what I remember. Of course this was from a time when was money worth saving !!

Bruce Dickinson - All The Young Dudes

Every generation thinks they are the first ones to be ever young. This song is a great cover version by Bruce Dickinson. He released a solo album after leaving the metal band Iron Maiden. It was surprisingly good as far as solo albums go. I like the video too. It brilliantly captures a feeling of time and generations passing. Nothing changes does it ?

The Great Satan

If I told you I never created my own fb page, and that it was in fact set up for me complete with friends ect as a joke after I sarcastically told a relation who offered to set me up one to " just get on with it " Would you actually believe me ? Probably not, but that's the way my page came to be.

Immediately I got into trouble. An obsession occurred as In I felt I was trapped in a new 24hour reality. I had 24hour access to my " friends " and their social activitys and posts. I quickly became stressed, logging on every morning. Some people don't take it too seriously, some people like my self see it as a constant measuring tool of the viability of friendships. A non returned message or unread one quickly had me thinking I was being ignored.... and should I really have written that last post?! Yes, Im neurotic at the best of times. Of course when a reply came I was so relieved, but I was becoming more and more paranoid and actually deeply unhappy. The more unhappy I became, the more I logged on and the harder I tried to prove all was not as I feared. A quagmire approached.

I remember how life was before this site and I cursed the day I laughed and said " just do it then " I am my own worst enemy. So why am I still on there ? Because I am weak that's why. We are all weak ! We crave the constant conformation that we are liked and that people value what we say. A few do read our views, but most just skip over our posts. Some have even admitted this to my face, so I guess its the general way. Once we didn't need fb. Today we cant live without it.

Positives ? Well for having a joke around with family its a blast because they know us inside out. For anything else its a mine field.. Oh, and I nearly forgot; Classic Fords For Sale is a blast too !!

Old friendships are a particularly nasty mental man trap. I mean people you were once close to but you no longer see, are they really still friends ? How can you tell how they view you today ? Once you just wouldn't have seen them any more. Simple. The End. Today they live on like ghosts, and thats not to strong a description I think. This limbo can last for years. Ive seen the long drawn out drift to entropy. Its a modern macabre situation. The slow death. I think this is my biggest regret, having wasted so much energy chasing these ghosts.

Of course that's all my own fault, it really is. And if I don't return or take up your friends request on there its actually a god send as this post confirms !! I have a gift for destruction online, and  forever over stepping the mark, or am I just being paranoid ? WTF, I guess you,ve caught my drift by now...lol

How Old Is The Average Bond Fan ?

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2868294/Monica-Bellucci-reveals-teenage-pictures-lips-big.html?ito=social-facebook

I guess the average Bond fan wont complain. Very interesting that a break from the obsession with youth has actually been followed through in a franchise as iconic as James Bond, after all the stakes are high. Having said that the Bond women have been a little unconventional in the past. Obviously the films Director wishes to connect with his key audience so I guess the average fan must be middle aged ? The trouble is the new Bond style is attracting new younger fans and Im not sure how they will take this, but you cant please everyone. Its an eternal problem retaining an established fan base while renewing a new one...And just for the record I aint complaing !

A Very Blunt Weapon Indeed ?

Its actually quite a serious situation as oil this month has fallen in value by now up to 40% . Countries such as Saudi Arabia are even claiming to be dipping into their country's reserves ( temporally they hope ) to keep their country running.
Normally during a price drop oil production is slowed down, then up the world price jumps, but today that doesn't seem possible ? Nobody is quite sure why, but I heard an expert say on the radio that big oil producing nations are trying to drive smaller producers like the U.K out of the market place, and then they plan to reduce production again to raise the world price back to the old high levels .Also Iran is included in the country's Saudi Arabia would like to see cease production too. Maybe its a blunt economic weapon, but they also must realise its hurting them too
. And then there is Americas Shale Gas production spike. That I feel maybe the most likely reason for the free fall in prices. It amazes me how America just gets on with an idea such as Fracking, while here in the U.K we debate and debate, and Oh,Yes we debate again....Yes, its a very murky picture...

Not as bad as I thought !!

My 40 mile mission

On today, the infamous Black Friday, what am I buying tonight ?
                                                                                                      Car screen wash
                                                                                                     A potato peeler
                                                                                                     Vinegar
                                                                                                     A " magic " cleaning cloth
Some screw in 100 watt bulbs

I however am quite safe in my assumption that ive avoided the crush

No, I don't use a bloody silly, noisy stereo type plastic window scrapper on my car window screen...No. Sirree.

Fishy Facts ( sorry )

Its been good to get out this afternoon, really good. I haven't felt completely well for at least a couple of months. My energy has been sapped, but today I guess the anti-biotics Im taking are finally working. I think ive been harbouring something in me that's been draining my energy for sometime. Anyway I visited an Aquarium  this afternoon ( they also had insects ) and learnt some alarming facts !

Seabass all start their lives in the sea as FEMALES, and only when a dominant male dies does a chosen female then change her sex to  MALE, hence replacing him and becoming the shoals new leader ! So I guess that old adage " The king is dead, long live the king " has gained a whole new twist ! I wonder what triggered this evolution ? I shall not start making human comparisons though, don't panic..

Two wheels bad, four wheels good !

Thanks to that scrawny side burned idiot Bradley Wiggins we in Britain are being subjected to a cycling revival. Everyone (my parents included) are buying bikes, Lycra, helmets ect. The roads at weekends are a real safety hazard, in fact our single track road has been added to a national cycle route. Yes I can see why ; narrow road, agricultural traffic, poor visibility...perfect ! Cyclists are among the most rude and dangerous people on the road. They are also very thick and aggressive, this is funny as it doesn't really match their professional image. Don't be fooled these people are real tw*ts !!!
They race along our lanes often at 30mph or more round blind corners or down very steep hills. I met one the other week in the middle of the road down such a hill. He screamed abuse at me as he swerved out of my path. They drive suicidally, but its always someone elses fault when they get caught out. They misjudge, your to blame ! The same goes for motor cyclists. They die on a regular basis of one a month on our local roads over Summer, but that's another story...

Image result for cycling images

Butter  wouldnt melt in their mouths as they say...

What really triggered this rant was that today as I waited at a pedestrian crossing a smug cyclist veered off the road at 90 degrees onto the pavement in front of me without warning, and without easing off. He had that arrogant air about him too. In fact he bristled with it. He had the sun glasses wearing urban Lycra  I stop for nothing look about him. Hes going to die if he carries on like that, just like the next idiot I saw who veered off the pavement and into the road without even looking back. He will die too, but I guess it wont be his fault will it ? Mmm just like the man who is claiming damages against my insurance company because he got knocked over after running across the road without looking ! Why are there so many idiots about, and idiots who will see you in very real trouble when their luck runs out ! Beware...
Tossers !

Sleeping with the enemy ?

Today I saw the first proof that Television is loosing the battle with the Internet for our attentions. Channel 5 has a Twitter page devoted to their programs, and they advertise the comments from this page on T.V , hence if people are talking about a T.V program on-line ,then the program must be worth sitting up and taking notice of ? Right ?
I guess its a kudos thing. They are openly and honestly accepting, and admitting that their measurement of success, is to be seen to be, or being talked about on a social network site. Of course this also neatly sets off the insecurity syndrome in the T.V viewer that they are missing out on something ( a series for example ) that everyone else is talking about on-line, and that's a powerful endorsement. After all we don't want to miss anything  that " everyone " else on-line finds entertaining do we ? Its a very clever marketing tool, but I wonder if they see the irony that the tool they are using to promote themselves is in direct competition with themselves for the general publics attention ? Probably not...

All 'American Horror Story: Freakshow' Teasers in One Video

At last a T.V  show thats worth watching and hits the mark. Its been a long while since ive watched any series on T.V that fully has my attention. The American Horror series is usually a gem, and season 4 seems to be up to scratch so far. And how do they make such unsettling title sequences ?

The Changing of the Guard

Today I visited the dentists in Sedbergh, and as I had no loose change for the car park I decided to park out side my late Grandads house on the out skirts of the town. I was not quite prepared for what I saw next. As his house was sold a while ago I expected to see a few changes, and there surely were some. New windows, scaffolding all over the place, privet hedge ( his obsession ) cut down, his rose garden ( what he lived for ) grassed over. Despite all these changes what really brought tears to my eyes was seeing that his old rhubarb patch was still growing in its little corner. This is actually the case in my other late grandparents house and garden too. Its funny how something as mundane as rhubarb can survive so long, in fact it still grows  generations later long after old houses have been long ago abandoned, I have  also seen this happening elsewhere. Whatever we value in life will be soon dismantled by the next generation . Its a sad fact of life unfortunately.

Monday, November 10

Well it would have been funny...

Im having trouble with my internet, but that's not so unusual. I have tried to cut and paste two photographs to comic effect showing the likeness of  a young Marlon Brando to the character Hiro the steam train from the Thomas the Tank Engine series. However the photo's keep disappearing and in the place of the Hiro photo graph a web address that reads something about " nanoblog racist " appears in its place. Thats odd, even by my standards.

Not the usual annual rant

Your-Country-Needs-You-The-Secret-History-of-the-Propaganda-Poster-by-James

Today I heard an interesting view regarding Remembrance Sunday;  The thing is unless we understand the exact mood of those terrible times then our harking back to that periods events will be void and pointless. Unless we understand how people ticked in those days our view from the comfortable modern age will be nothing more than a sentimental, slightly cynical exercise . For example do we really understand the glamour that  volunteers  perceived would be theirs on joining the armed forces ? Do we understand the social pressure to conform ? This was particularly perpetuated by women !  Did you realise also that Spiritualism exploded around the World War dates ? Can you imagine that situation today ? Really ?  These times were so removed from our modern mind set that the very act of Remembrance is probably a futile excercise, after all no lessons were learnt, or were they ?

Green Day - Warning (Video)

Tonight ive had ENOUGH

Tonight Im not myself, in fact I feel quite sick, but not due to any illness Ive been plagued with recently, more due to an event that happened today. Some of you may remember a year ago nearly exactly that I was involved in a strange road accident in which a man got knocked over by not me but an oncoming vehicle. This Summer he has started a claim for damages against my insurance company, this is on going.
Anyway as the same journey was required this week again we decided to hire a man with a proper wagon to move the sheep, so much safer,  or so I thought. I was happy not to be driving whilst towing a heavy load. Problem sorted then ? Er, no as the driver pulled out in front of a van doing 70mph on a dual carriage way. He just didn't see it coming. Luckily the van whizzed past only inches in front of the wagon. I was not in the wagon but my Dad was and he got home rattled and said it was the closest thing to death he had ever experienced !
So tonight Im wondering just how taking action and doing things right and learning from past mistakes has led to this potential catastrophe? There is no way out. There are no certainty's. Living safely is not enough. Somethings wrong here.
The road is called the A66 and has a deadly reputation. I have wondered in the past if this road is somehow cursed. Google it, death is its middle name. In fact a young man died on there that I used to know, he was driving a tractor and was hit by a lorry. Sorry but I feel depressed tonight and out of faith in anything, after all who knows how long any of us has got ?

Do you know how demoralising it is to plan and take action to avoid trouble only to have it potentially occur on a larger scale ? Its a feeling that's hard to describe, kind of like when you were little and someone told you Santa doesnt exist. Disappointment, so much disapointment that nothing can be done. So what happens now ? Carry on crossing my fingers ? Fuck, this is what lifes really all about isn't it ? Nothing more....  This is a pivotal moment for me.

Asylum 1972

This is one of my favourite horror films and Hammer films of all time. Basically, are the inmates of an asylum really deluded, or have they just experienced a strange side to life ?  A new doctor arrives and is set the task of identifying which inmate was until recently the manager of the Asylum ! OK the special effects are dated, but the stories are good. Of course the opening credits set the tone brilliantly.
Hammer produced another similar film around then too. It starred Donald Pleasance, and it was called  Tales that witness madness, but I cant find that on You-tube unfortunately. I must admit it too is another favourite film of mine.  Again the manager in this second film, also set in an asylum, has to admit that the inmates are all actually telling the truth...Spooky

Wednesday, November 5

Ive recently noticed that as people reach old age they loose their sense of empathy for others and expect more for themselves. I guess I shall be noticing more unpleasant observations like these in the near future...

NO, I DONT HAVE TO !!!

I dont know why, but just recently the words  "  have to "  set light to a touch paper fuse in me. This morning someone told me " I had to do something  "  " but its got to be done today "   A fiery anger burnt up in me and I threw a mug into the sink ( apparently breaking a glass ) and slammed the fridge door ( apparently breaking half a dozen eggs ) No, you dont have to do anything ! Some of the silliest decisions ive seen people make were often preceeded by the dreaded words " but we have to " ! It is surely a prelude to a mistake to leave yourself no wriggle room when considering any actions. Dont tell me I have to do anything !

There is only one phrase which gets me more worried than the above and thats the great  " Gods told me to do it...or its Gods will "   Oh yes, this has been uttered before some true abominations have come to light, and Im talking about things ive seen, not a general attack on Christianity here .Only a deviant could utter such words, and did !

Tuesday, November 4

Ive been ill for weeks. Bad stomach, head ache, bad sinuses, bad chest, stuffed up ect. I cough at night, I take cough mixture,  eventually it gives me heart burn, that makes me cough again... Combined with my Seasonal Disorder kicking in and sapping my energy, at times this subtle and gradual combination has felt like the beginning of my demise. I know that sounds crass and its not so, but this feeling is not something Ive felt before. Maybe having to measure my energy to my work load has pointed out the fact that im not that invincible anymore ?

What we so often forget

Men's Humor's photo.

Feeling strangely smug

How many photographs have you ? I like most readers of this blog can remember the time when the number of photos we took was limited. After all we had to buy a roll of film and take it to the Chemists ( was it the Chemists ? ) to be developed. This was an occasion. We had to wait for the photo's to return too. Today digital cameras mean our photographs are unlimited..
With this in mind I finally got round to a mass deleting session last night. It only took 30 minutes, but I'd been putting it off for months. Less is definitely more. I even put labels on my files, and I found out how to do this despite Windows 8 doing its best to stop me ! Now ive less pictures I may even get round to storing them on a " cloud " back up type gizmo. Ive seen so many people lose their photo's despite using fail safe methods though. Facebook or a blog are I think maybe the ultimate storage tools, maybe.

My Focus has reached a stage when ( and maybe this is just a mood Im in ) I feel like having a blitz on broken and non -working parts. First the dash clocks are switching on/off and the needles are acting like there are 13 Ghosts in there !  The handbrake is slipping badly, there's an annoying knock from the rear suspension and an ever louder cracking noise from the front brakes. Isn't it funny how as the nights are suddenly darker now you seem to think of loads of jobs you would like to do at night ?!

Inverted Snobs

Today a family member went on a trip with a business acquaintance. The usual packed lunch suddenly seemed to be deemed too extravagant. Less was asked for. At first I was puzzled as this is not a family trait ! It was then revealed the other person was only taking a coffee. So why did my family member feel so uncomfortable taking his normal more substantial lunch ?  Because the man he was travelling with was an  INVERTED SNOB !
An inverted snob does not look down at everyone else, its worse, he finds everyone else far too extravagant and arrogant and indulgent. He is after all the most pious and simple person on the planet. He goes out of his way to make you feel your a little too flash or too self indulgent. Everything to him is a drama. A normal snob is ignored, but even the most insular person cannot escape the comments of such an inverted man. His targets are legion.

Stop it.

Great, we have another new T.V series featuring sick babies in our NHS. I find such programs sick, but maybe that's just me. Whats worse of course though is I know people who have been through such times, and how much these programs upset them. Obviously the majority of viewers cant relate to such events, but that doesn't stop them wallowing around in the mire of what if for the grace of God it was us ? Well it wasnt, and its upsetting those who have had the experience. Wheres the good in that ?

What a way, what a way....

Last year I claimed some money I was entitled too. Today I finally received a heavy letter from a government agency demanding it all back. This was 12 months after I had stopped claiming. I have spent the last month talking to a fucking robot on the help line that misunderstood what I was saying. As I am very interested at how the fact I suddenly have been deemed to not have been eligible fore this money, Ive asked for a breakdown of figures explaining their reasoning, but they wont give any figures to me until I pay them ! WTF ! Insanity and incompetence from the very start. I remember the money pouring into my bank balance before they even had my income figures, now they fucked up the payment entitlement they suddenly demand all this money back. Fucking amateurs !!!

Don't underestimate how pissed I am about this...

O.K , I admit it. Ive always bought myself a pumpkin at Halloween ,even before I had a daughter...

Is there something Im missing here ?

Once again our Government has borrowed over 10 billion pounds this month to make ends meet. This happens EVERY month !
We cannot cut spending ever by this figure each month
We cannot raise the amount of tax coming in by this amount every month

THIS ISN'T GOING ANYWHERE IS IT ?     ( but i'm not economist )

Monday, October 20

? !

It must be Winter;  All the programs about Cancer. And since when has euthanasia become so trendy, and such T.V so apparently attractive ?

Cancer charitys are giving cancer a personality in their adverts. People aim abuse at it. Its a disease. It cares not for your rants or insults. Whose idea was that campaign ?!

Gigi D'Agostino - Drifting Sideways ( Underconstruction 3 )

This is one of the best re-mixes ive ever heard. Why ? Its got passion, menace, sorrow and a sense of time passing to it.

Well burger me....

It really annoys me when someone insists on cooking a burger or fish fingers in their deep frozen state. De-frost them first !  Yes, they will cook faster !!  GGGGrrrrrrrrrrrrr !

Friday, October 17

Comments please....

I keep returning to an uncomfortable subject ; the fact that in this country we have a  3 %  conviction rate for reported rapes. So are 97% of women claiming rape liars then ?  Our courts are the best and most fair, and most envied in the world. Even if there is a reason for that low figure that requires some action, just how much would that conviction figure rise by ? Starting from that low base rate I find it hard to see any scenario of short comings in the legal system that could bring this figure to an " acceptable " level . And just what would an acceptable level of con viction be ? And is it ethical to lessen the proof needed for such an emotive brutal crime ? This is a can of worms alright...

Attempted Theft Of Eric Morecambe Statue

A sign of the times ?  The attempted theft of the iconic Eric Morecambe statue from Morecambe sea front by a lone man with an angle grinder in broad day light. Are times that hard ? Try not to laugh...

Mid life crises ?

A friend of mine was laughing recently and asking me the question whether I thought he would soon be having a mid-life crises. I told him that I thought there was no such thing, only a period in a mans life when he once again remembers what once moved him or excited him. Unfortunately such desires are out of sync with others at his age so he is ridiculed or ostracised. There's no great crises here, only a change of awareness.

If you show me a man who says he doesnt look at young women or nice cars , then I will show you a liar...

The Streets - Turn the Page

If you really want to understand me take this band The Streets. I realise that the lyrics are from a lifestyle I have nothing in common with and disapprove of, but I appreciate the poetry of the lyrics and the rhythms. Its a bitter sweet mixture. I dont judge other peoples choices if I find them talented, especially if that person moves me. Thats important to remember if I ever give your opinions a poke !  I find no views unacceptable. I find no beliefs unacceptable.

An enemy of convenience

Diets . A lot is written about diets. The inconvenient truth is that if you cut out fast food take away type food then you will loose weight, but there is a forgotten side to this equation. After cutting them out you can then eat more foods you like which have a traditional stigma attached to them; butter, chocolate ect. You will soon find theses foods do not have the weight gaining affects you have been brought up to expect. They are wholesome foods. JUNK FOOD IS THE  TRUE ENEMY  !

Affection, the forgotten emotion between love and lust

We all live in a world that reduces everything between a man and a woman to sex. The man should always be deemed to chase this goal, a woman to also crave this, but take the man on a long detour. As for love, well how long does that last, and how happy are people when they experience it ?  No , affection lands inbetween and will out last time almost, and any stupid things the other person does. It is simply the forgotten emotion, often confused with lesser, more questionable emotions.

Tunnel vision

I think the biggest fault I have is not seeing the big picture of life. We are all obsessed with the moment. If we pause and add up the good things we have ( and that takes some effort ) we may be surprised at the picture we conj our.

I often look a single part of my life at a time, darkly. As you broaden out the perspective you look at , the picture will rapidly brighten. Yes, time provides eventually, but this modern age demands now ! We can never be satisfied constantly. Ebb and flow. I used to understand this well once. I was patient by the season. I need to recapture this mind set. The more specific we are, the more miserable we'll be.
